Escape to Big Sky Sanctuary! Your Camano Island oasis awaits. Nestled between Seattle and Bellingham, Big Sky Sanctuary offers a serene escape for nature lovers and adventurers. This tranquil haven is nestled amidst towering old-growth cedars, in a storybook-perfect mossy evergreen forest. We offer two dry RV sites, each equipped with a fire ring and a picnic table, surrounded by natural beauty. There's plenty of room to bring your hammock or lounge chairs. Cozy up with a book and listen to the birds by day and admire the glittering stars by night. You can immerse even more fully in the forest by walking our winding quarter-mile nature trail, which starts just behind the larger of our RV pads. You're welcome to bring your furry friends along on a leash. For those seeking water-based adventures, a boat launch and beach are conveniently located about 2 miles away. Crabbing, kayaking, and paddleboarding are popular among locals. If dry land is more your vibe, check out nearby Barnum Point Preserve and Cama Beach Preserve for trails overlooking the beach in the majestic tranquility of a big old forest. Come unwind!

Great flat spot for our 25' trailer, loved having a fire ring and picnic table since we wanted to eat outside while the weather is still nice. My grandsons really enjoyed the little nature trail, exploring the surrounding woods and riding their bikes on the gravel road. A peaceful and beautiful campsite.

Beautiful, secluded site

Literally magical. We booked this site for our maiden voyage in on our new Airstream and it was as dreamy as one could imagine. Incredibly spacious site, secluded and very private but nestled into a lovely neighborhood so close to the water. Our dogs were elated. Lovely, attentive and kind hosts. Cannot wait to return!

We highly recommend this camp location, Michael and Marissa are very helpful and friendly. They have done a great job creating a place of solitude. We were close to beaches and in the middle of nowhere.

When we decided to come visit Camano Island again, we only checked for vacancy at Woodland Window. We had a great experience last spring, and this visit was perfect. It's perfectly level and completely quiet. We'll come again when we're nearby.
