Peace and serenity
Our host John met us at the entrance of the campsite and came down with us and showed us around. John was a very humble and Informative host. He then left us alone to enjoy our site. It was very serene sitting by the river for the time that we were down there fishing was great. The bugs were minimal and the space was plenty. I would recommend this site to anybody wanting to have some alone time with a loved one or family . Fishing was great. My son and my wife caught fish while we were there. Of course I didn’t have any luck because my wife took it all. Lol I very very, very, very highly recommend this site and I will be back again .

This was my 2nd stay at this wonderful site. The fishing was good and the stay was relaxing despite crazy storms. John has done a bit of work to the road coming down into the site since last year. My 4x4 crawled right on out despite the mud.

Outstanding!!!!
John is a great host and was more than accommodating. The site was beautiful and our family had a blast, will def be back. Our tent was too big for the platform which I think was 12x12 but we were able to drive right up to the site with our 2 4x4 suvs. If you have a car you will have to walk to site but it isn’t bad. Yes there is a port a potty up the hill and a hot shower in a barn bay but there is a platform you can stand on. I was very pleased and recommend to everyone and even kayakers going by complimented the site and setup. Also loved the fact that he has hats and tumblers to remember the visit but unfortunately we didn’t bring extra money or I would have bought 2 hats!!!!
