Run by professional athletes, Froggy Mountain boasts a 1 mile well groomed trail with 500 feet of vertical gain per mile. A perfect place to get in a little hike through the woods, or serious training! We boast an outdoor kitchen, mini laundry facility, and hot outdoor shower and bath. A beautiful, quiet retreat with a couple friendly sheep who will nibble treats out of your hands. Portable toilet available. Minutes from downtown Galax, primitive camping is currently available for this season. For additional cost we will provide shuttle service to the New River Trail

The most creative & the most amenit

Absolutely amazing little piece of heaven!! They have created a creative and functional space with luc extras like a heated outdoor shower & bathtub, the most amazing outdoor kitchen & even a heated outdoor dishwashing station! Also, they have a mile long trail (with some serious incline) on the property with little nooks randomly throughout with frog themes, a rest spot with lounge chairs and lots of other fun finds. The hosts were lovely and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and gave us a tour of the property & a tutorial on using the camp kitchen. We can’t wait to come back!
