lovely experience! easy to find, comfortable and plenty of room, hidden in the trees. the nearest bathhouse was a 3 minute walk.

Site 6 - Retreat at Shenandoah Meadows
Great stay at Shenandoah Meadows!
We had a great stay! Site 6 has a beautiful view, especially for sunrise, and the site is spacious. Plenty of room for our kids to run around and kick a soccer ball around. The instructions provided were perfect; everything was just as described. It was all very easy. The walk to the bath house is a bit much but a port-a-potty is provided closer by and honestly, as port a potty’s go, it seemed pretty clean and didn’t gross me out like some do.
Only cons: there were a TON of gnats in the field and at times it was really pretty bad. That’s nature for you, though!
Site 5 is practically co-located with site 6 so it felt a little less roomy and private once others showed up at the neighboring site. You can see people at sites 3 and 4, but they’re much farther away so it feels less awkward.
All in all we had a great stay and would certainly recommend it to friends if we knew someone was heading out towards Shenandoah!

The campsite was lovely. Very peaceful. The stars gorgeous. The only negative were the gnats which my son does not handle well. But he loved the campfire and weenie roast and Bfast over the Coleman stove in the am!
