Willie Docto and Greg Trulson are committed to providing a comfortable, fun, and make-yourself-at-home atmosphere at the Moose Meadow Lodge & Treehouse. The two met in 1992 at a log home B&B in West Virginia and have stayed at many B&Bs and log lodges ever since. In 1996, these former Washingtonians moved to Vermont to pursue their dream of owning a B&B. They bought a single-family home on 86 acres, and after a couple of years of research, planning, fishing, hunting and renovating, they opened the Moose Meadow Lodge in October of 1998 and added the Treehouse in 2012. Learn more about this land: Imagine waking up to the splashing of rainbow trout and the music of the hermit thrush as you gaze out on the pristine pond at Moose Meadow. Moose Meadow Lodge & Treehouse
Unique experience
The treehouse is amazing! Greg and Willie are wonderful, warm, hilarious hosts. They went over and above in everything including putting air in my low pressure tire! We could not have had a better time. The property is beautiful, breakfast is included and delicious, access to their full kitchen, Ben and Jerry's ice cream in their freezer and 'endless hot' water were a big plus. Attention to detail made the whole long weekend feel very spoiling. It was an experience we won't forget.

Moose Meadow Lodge & Treehouse
Wow, Moose Meadow Lodge was incredible! The treehouse is absolutely dreamy, the property is stunning, and Greg and Willie are such warm, thoughtful, and generous hosts. They have truly thought of every detail and we had an amazing time. We hiked in Camel's Hump State Park, ate delicious food in Waterbury and Stowe, swam in the pond on the property (and warmed up with a hot outdoor shower afterwards!), and just really had a great and relaxing stay. I'm sure we'll be back!

Moose Meadow Lodge & Treehouse
There is so much more here than meets the eye. It's not camping - it's an experience! Greg and Willie have crafted a magical treehouse in the woods, paying meticulous attention to details and special touches. From the handcrafted chocolates, outdoor shower, fully stocked trout pond, and mountain top gazebo, we were enthralled from the moment we set foot on the property. Treehouse guests have full access to the main lodge, including the indoor hot tub, full kitchen, sitting areas, and TV room. A lovely breakfast with a view is included in your stay. A comfortable bed, gas fireplace, pond for swimming, and a night full of fireflies are just some of the amenities provided. Greg and Willie were fabulous hosts, treating us like old friends from the beginning. We can't wait to go back for another visit!
