Our desert RV site is located at The American Legion 'The Last Outpost'. We are located 56 miles south of Alpine, TX and 26 miles North of Study Butte/Terlingua, TX. The site has a flat, hard-packed dirt/gravel area with enough space to accommodate a small or large RV. We offer 50-amp electric hookup. No water. Dump Station across the road at Jackass Flats roughly 1200 ft away! (During business hours 9am-6pm) Gazing east, an unparalleled sunrise comes into view, showcasing a breathtaking perspective of Nine Point Mesa as it majestically looms over a volcanic vent known as Black Hill. To the North East sits an inactive Volcano named Santiago Peak. Stunning sunsets & Clear night skies make for a great evening. Stargazing in our serene desert is like no other!
