Site 6 - Bus Stop Campground
We had an excellent time camping at the Bus Stop. It is conveniently close to Terlingua and Big Bend National park. The bath house was very nice and clean. Our camping spot was great, we enjoyed some campfires and the endless stars in the sky at night.

Terlingua Gem
My favorite place to stay when visiting the Terlingua area! Beautiful location and good amenities—clean bathrooms and nice hot showers, plus electricity, water and WIFI!
David is a very friendly host who takes pride in maintaining a place that is welcoming. The campsites are spread out and there is fun hiking too. Highly recommend!

Family Vacation
Definitely loved the place we tent camped for 5 days and 4 nights the winds were bad the first 2 nights but it didn't stop us from having a great time, the restrooms are clean and warm even for it being super cold the showers were also clean and had great hot water. The travel to the bus stop is a long dirt road so don't expect ur vehicle to be clean lol but over all we had a blast and even the owners father was very welcoming and friendly he came to our site and checked on us as well but if you love the out doors, star gazing, NO CURFEW then this is the place to be.

Absolutely Amazing
Such a gorgeous place to camp for the night. Woke up to some views of the sunrise over Big Bend that I’ll never forget!

So many thoughtful details provided
This is a fantastic campground! Nice flat tent pads (or RV I suppose) with a faucet AND sink basin, electrical outlets—two 110 and a 220, or whatever the bigger one is. A bucket beside the sink had nice thick tent stakes and a big thick hammer—this was great bc our tent stakes did not go through this hard rocky ground!
The bath house had clean well stocked toilets and showers with a sink and soap provided. Fire wood is provided for $1 per small piece. If you are coming from a place where you can get it cheaper, bring it; there’s no prohibition against that. WiFi worked great! Seats around the fire ring so that we barely needed our camp chairs. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the bus stop campground!
