Dandy Hill is a small working homestead goat dairy. Come enjoy the farm life and play with the goats. This farm is 8 acres sitting on top of a small hill with beautiful sunrises. Only 1.5 miles off interstate 75 and a perfect spot to stop in on your travels. Located in Athens TN which is exactly 1/2 way point between Knoxville and Chattanooga. Rivers, lakes and mountains are all within a 45 minute drive from the farm. Experience milking the goats or relax and listen to the animals from your campsite. Campsite now has 50 amp service.Pitch your tent or park your camper on the farm. This site has a picnic table and fire ring. The site is gravel for level camper parking or grassy area for a tent. You are camping on a working small goat dairy so animals will be all around, including sights and smells of farm life. You are welcome to join me in the barn and experience what running a homestead goat dairy looks like. You can also book a goat soap making class that will be hosted in the home located on the property. Pets are welcome but I do ask that they remain on a leash. The sunrise view is amazing here!

Sarah's place is great! All of her animals are soo sweet and the new baby goats were so fun to play with and feed. My daughter spent hours playing with all 7 of them. The views are wonderful, very little road noise can be heard, only the occasional loud vehicle could be heard but ever so faintly. Sarah is an amazing hostess, she spent time educating us about goats and her farm. Additionally, she has homemade goat soap for sale (smells awesome)!

Put this site on your bucket list
My two days at Sarah's farm were a huge highlight of my six month solo road trip. First, the location is gorgeous and very easy to get to. Second, Sarah is a terrific host and offers a warm welcoming atmosphere. Her farm is a hard working farm and so it does include the sights, sounds, and smells of a farm but if you get the chance to interact with her baby goats or any of the other farm animals, you will be smitten. Sarah provides electricity and water for a level site located next to her barn with fantastic views of the sunrise and sunset in each direction. You will need your own camp toilet. There is access to hot and cold running water in the barn. If you're game and capable, you might even get the chance to participate in farm chores - like feeding baby goats! Given her location with easy access to many outdoor opportunities in three states - this is a site to put on your bucket list.

Excellent Hipcamp
Sarah was such a wonderful host! I felt very safe at her property. The view is phenomenal and the goats are the best! This was my first time solo camping and using Hipcamp. I was very nervous to say the least. I'm so thankful I chose this spot!! I will be back when the temperature is warm and I can stay longer. Highly recommend.

Another blissful night! This was our second stay and it couldn’t be better. Sarah is very welcoming; we enjoy our time with her and her adorable dogs. The goats are adorable too! Make sure to buy some of her amazing handmade soap if you stay there.
