Book a peaceful and beautiful site on a private creek. The Redwater Revival Campground joined Hipcamp and was open during the 2020 summer season. Herb met and accommodated many wonderful guests and had a blast doing it. The red bluff in the background was a very strategic vantage point for early Indigenous Americans for hunting game that roamed the creek bottom. The rest of this exciting story will have to be heard when you get here. The Redwater Creek is full of Brown and Rainbow trout. They are sneaky little buggers that can actually hear your footsteps when you are fishing along the bank. Please make sure that you stay with us for some very restful mesmerizing sleep along our part of the creek at the Redwater Revival Campground.

Remote little camping spot. It was a perfect for us to camp for the night on our road trip. Great for stargazing!

Fall asleep to the gurgling creek and wake to the bird song. Absolutely beautiful red rock, two large bucks, listening attentively.

Well groomed camping area with babbling brook nearby. Clean and peaceful; a bird watchers paradise. The host was gracious in sharing his land for others to enjoy.

Site 4 - Redwater Revival Campground
We really enjoyed our stay on Herb’s land. There wasn’t anyone else staying there so we had complete privacy. Site 4 doesn’t have any shade and it happened to be almost 100 degrees one day but thankfully we have a generator for our camper! We loved the views, privacy and listening to the neighboring creek. We thought the creek might be a little more accessible. There was a small path down to the creek closer to site 1 but difficult for our older dog and me who is hesitant to just jump in! If you have a camper and plan on filling water, verify with Herb that the water is turned on before arrival. He helped us troubleshoot and brought a 5-gallon water jug with cold fresh water shortly after our arrival. We loved to convenience of being near a small town and short drive to Spearfish but feeling like we were a world away from it all!

I loved the view and the amount of grass here, it made for a great campsite. Herb was very nice and welcoming. If I pass through Wyoming again I will absolutely stay here.
