Black Walnut Farmstead seeks to re-introduce you to Nature’s gifts. Here is a place to feel the earth beneath your feet, to sense the air & sun touching your skin, to breathe with an animal or a plant, to see the tiny & grand wonders of Creation; and to kindle your own creative spirit. Our agritourism is created as a retreat from lifestyle stressors, opportunities to expand awareness & knowledge, refreshment for body & soul! We're a personal farmstead in Bullock Creek, SC and we offer agritourism opportunities through Personalized Educational Guided Walks to tour the property; to learn about the farmstead animals, plants, & practices and some history of the area. We're also a space for various classes - farmsteading, meditation, Yoga, creativity, .... We came upon this old abandoned farm & 30 acres in 2020 and we're still in the midst of restoring the early 1800's farmhouse & property; adding new barns, gardens, sawmill, walking trails, creative spaces, camping & retreat opportunities, and our Little Country Store & Tiny herbal Tea Room. You're invited to take a guided walking tour of the farmstead ... to take a stroll in our Medicine Garden brimming with traditional herbs and beneficial natives, take a hike around the Huacaya Alpaca pasture and Nubian Goat yard, take a moment to breathe in Nature’s glorious forested areas and another moment to laugh at yardbird antics.Site 1 is an open area that's very private. There's a fire barrel available for camp fires. Guest have about a 1/2 acre to stretch out and relax.
