Rockledge Cottage 1
What a great place, so clean and cozy. Access to trails was just a short drive away, as was groceries and gas. The wildlife around the cottage was amazing, just out my window. The cottage is well stocked with new pots and pans, dishes and utensils. There is a new hotplate, new countertop convection oven, clean towels and a very comfortable bed with plenty of lighting throughout. It's best to bring a book, no TV for your peace and quiet. There must be a gun club nearby for I could hear shots most of Saturday if I was on the porch. Otherwise, it was very quiet. The grounds are well kept, and as the name of the lodge suggests it is on a rock ledge and a bit steep to get up to your cottage, there are stairs part way up. All in all it was really a great place. Thanks Rachel

Great cabin!
We had a lovely stay at cabin 3. It's super cute, has a comfy bed and well equipped kitchen. I'd definitely stay again. Very good communication with Rachel.

Rockledge Cottage 1
Rachel did a wonderful job making us feel at home before we even arrived. It's a beautiful location and we stayed in Cottage 2. Wonderful things to do all around the area and we definitely hope to come back again.

Cute, clean cottage
We loved staying at Rachel’s cottage, and we will be back. There are three cottages, and we stayed in Cottage 1. It was exceptionally clean and very comfortable, with cute decor. There is a coffee maker, coffee grinder, teapot, one burner hot plate, and a heavy duty toaster oven (can actually cook a chicken). We had everything we needed in the kitchen. Rachel was very responsive and helpful. We had no complaints! We recommend the hike from Pen Mar Park on the Appalachian Trail to High Rock (follow the white blazes once you go south on the AT from the park). It was about 6 miles to High Rock and back and included a strenuous uphill portion. You would want sturdy shoes and to be in decent shape. You can also access the beautiful view at High Rock by car if you want to skip the hike.
