The land here is incredibly serene and the pond is excellent. Communication with Justin was very prompt and helpful. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer.

Tent camping site by water was great and fun to fish. Just was responsive also. One word of caution is to check if there are any speedway races the night you want to camp. There was a race the night we chose and it was extremely loud until 1030pm. Not the hosts fault but just a word to the wise.

The Homestead is awesome!

The Homestead is a beautiful piece of property and the perfect spot for crews of all sizes. Our party of 7 had tons of space and we're able to enjoy the nearby pond for fishing and kayaking. It's also super easy to find and load in and load out of. Justin was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed from the start. Highly recommend!

Justin himself, is what stands out the most! I was visiting the farms my husband and I were so very fortunate to be raised on. My father passed a year ago…. To the date of our visit at The Homestaed! As soon as I saw Hipcamp had The Homestead listing the description…. 🤔 every detail. Was home as we remembered so fondly! As we pulled into the property it was gated. Just as our homes we were raised. The soil, was exactly as we were raised. After meeting our host, he explained that Woodleaf NC (Pender family residence, Wayne Pender’s rental property) Was only a few short miles away. I’m over explaining, sorry! I’m still shocked that our host Justin, has created our exact childhood and offered it as campsites! @The Homestead, thank you graciously! For showing us our next goal…. To bring Hipcamp to Ga. I have no clue where to start, but I’m doing my research as I was writing! But first I’m going right now to request, another night for our screened tent to remain 1 more day as we renew our vows at Camp Spencer, Concord NC.
