Beautifully natural landscape situated alongside an amazing salmon spawning creek the Slick Rock Creek. With easy creek access via short path down to the waters edge for serenity. Sit an eye nature at its finest the oregon coast has to offer. Located 8 miles from the beach, shopping, hiking, restaurants. Toilet on site as well as cover picnic table, tetherball, rc crawler trails, direct access to forest roads with views of the ocean, suited best for campervans, motorcycle camping and tents.A beautiful slice of paradise! A small camp spot located alongside a salmon creek with a natural coastal mountain setting. A flush toilet, covered picnic table, low amp 110v power, a deck for lounging and watching your worries drift down Slick Rock Creek. A short trail leads down the waters edge where you can dip your feet, swim in one of the deeper spots and just kick back on the rocks and enjoy the sunshine! Perfect spot for your camper van, or motorcycle with space for a tent or hammocks. Parking spot is gravel, tent spot on bark dust and both are fairly level. Camper vans can pull up next to the deck and open the sliding door right to the creek that sits roughly 10' below during summer months when water runs low. This is a very natural growing area lightly maintained that has many trip hazards please be aware. Situated just below a residential road and typically has light traffic (neighbors). Drift Creek falls hiking is about 15 mins away, the beach is 10 mins away and outlet stores 20 mins away. Lots and lots to do! Or do nothing at all! Well mannered dogs are welcome and must be cleaned up after. Also very well mannered child are allowed and must be supervised, again this is a natural area lots of places young kids could get hurt, please use your best judgment nobody wants to end camping early. Unfortunately the Slick Rock Creek is closed for fishing year round, it is a salmon spawning creek, so there is no fishing on it but there is fishing half mile away on the Salmon River. There are rc crawler trails in the woods, unlimited rocks to crawl on and rc rock crawlers on loan from RC 101 for you to use! A great local rc shop in Depoe Bay! A fire pit and firewood will be provided when county fire season rules allow, please highly respect these rules, we lost most of Rose Lodge and Otis just a few years ago due to wildfire. The Rose Lodge market is within walking distance and typically has anything you may need for food, snacks, drinks etc. Need a ride into town?? Looking to see something amazing up or down the coast?? Ask about the vintage vw van tours!
