Mini Stargazing Tent
I had a nice weekend here! The camp site was only a short walk from the parking area but far enough from the road to feel private. It has all the amenities I needed, and you can tell they're working to improve the site further. Ananda was very helpful with her communications. I'll definitely consider the site again next time I'm in the area!
Mini Stargazing Tent
I didn’t have to set up camp!
Decent stay and a great place for girl trips, not having to set up camp, maybe for a romantic weekend. There’s a nice lake real close too.
The good: This site was wooded and pretty. The stargazer was fluffy and clean as was the clean smelling portable toilet that kept the entire area first day fresh. It was a pleasant aroma. The robes, slippers, pancake & s’mores fixings were all a great touch. The mini fridge was ice cold & the ac unit cooled the tent really well. I loved the shadeland medicinals. The deck & lights were lovely.
The complicated: Tent lines everywhere that stopped me from getting to the shower & the lights prevented me from hanging a tarp. This caused an issue with overnight rain getting in the tent soaking the floor. This scared me due to all the electrical cords on power strips on the floor.. The mud made it hard to get water. There was no place to wash dishes. Ventilation was minimal & I fault myself for not having a fan.
The site: The small wooded lot was still under construction. There is a small ravine to explore. TV/ac/cars = noise. Very close to the road & homes can be seen through the trees & a truck full of men stopped to talk to me which I absolutely did not like. I didn’t feel like I could shower in private. The lights kept all those tent lines visible & everything safe on that lovely deck.
Goldenseal, blood root, & spiceberry are abundant and brilliant. The pea gravel pathways were enchanting & I enjoyed the solar lights along the way.
