Sway Meadow is an off-grid, eco-glamping experience in the Southern Adirondacks, minutes to the Great Sacandaga Lake.
Our property is perfect for a spontaneous or long-dreamt-of getaway. Come stay in our spacious bell tent nestled in a beautiful meadow in the woods.
Relax, unwind, recharge. Cook over an open fire under the stars. Sleep in a queen bed with layers of luxurious linens. Cozy up with your friends or your honey and reconnect with nature and each other.
The campsite includes a wood stove-heated tent, a private composting toilet facility, outdoor seating near the wood burning firepit, and a private solar shower (during warm months only). Washing up water (10 gals.) and firewood are provided at the site for guests to use during their stay.The Bell Tent - Included is a queen sized bed with extra warm bedding, cookware, tea and coffee making supplies (bring your favorite tea and coffee along with you!), wood stove with wood provided, rugs for comfort underfoot, table and chairs, dresser and ample bedside storage. Compost, recycling and waste bins are provided indoors.
The Outhouse - Rustic, clean and non-smelly. The facilities include a composting toilet, using recycled sawdust as the composting medium. Private for guests and managed as needed throughout your stay. There is also a mirror and a wash basin outside the privy for washing up during warm weather months.
The Fire Pit - Cook up a meal on a grill over the open fire! Take a seat in one of four Amish-made Adirondack style chairs.
You will have the entire campsite available during your stay as well as access to our marked trails on the property for hiking and snowshoeing. Snowmobiling is permitted to and from the camp and parking area during snowy weather. We also provide a wheeled cart or a sled for ferrying belongings from the parking area to the site. We are a short distance to some local hiking and snowmobiling trails. Fourwheeling and ice fishing on Sacandaga Lake are also quite popular and there is easy public access to the shore within a quarter mile of the property.
