All to yourself
100% of recent Hipcampers say this Hipcamp felt private.
Osa Trail site rests on a secluded hilltop bordering Sundown Wild Forest with SPECTACULAR VIEWS of hills and valleys. You can see all the way to The Berkshires on clear days. At night, it's the Milky Way, so bring your telescope. There is a beautiful "secret" mountain stream waterhole within a 7-minute walk from the tent. Bring your towels.
Right along the driveway leading to the campsite there is a shale outcrop, full of fossils, mostly prehistoric leaves and branches, but also occasional Brachiopods - yours for the taking. Bring your cold chisel and a mallet.
This campsite is equipped with one Queen-sized bed with a memory foam mattress!
Good cell reception at the site.
No poison ivy anywhere on the property.
Bring extra warm blankets but wake up early to watch the sunrise. Enjoy the stone fire pit, but don't leave the fire unattended. Forage the forest, but don't leave food that may attract wildlife. Explore nearby mountain streams, waterfalls, hills and trails - don't get lost in the woods.Experience being unplugged from the city, away from civilization. Reconnect with nature on a private hilltop. Have the campsite all to yourself and your loved ones.
