The perfect Adirondack getaway. This cabin is nestled in the forest only footsteps away from the shores of historic Big Moose Lake. The property is 10 acres - 4 on the shoreline of the lake and 6 in the forest across the street. The cabin is walking distance to the lake and two area restaurants and taverns. Big Moose Lake is 4 miles long and a mile wide at it's widest point. Enjoy canoeing, kayaking, hiking, water-skiing, and swimming in the warmer months, or snowmobiling, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing in the winter. There are trout and bass in the lake if fishing is something you'd like to do.This cabin is located 150 yards from the shoreline of Big Moose Lake. You have your own picnic table and fire pit at the cabin. There is WIFI throughout the cabin. Big Moose Lake is located in the Adirondack Park, the area is known for its abundant outdoor activities throughout the year. The best selling novel "An American Tragedy" is based on events that happened on the lake at the turn of the last century, which was also the adapted into the Oscar-winning film "A Place In The Sun", starring Elizabeth Taylor and Montgomery Clift. The area is the perfect location to relax, unwind and enjoy the natural beauty of this Upstate NY treasure, the original summer getaway for the rich and famous.

Camp Adirondack
Great location. Clean clutter free cabin with a hotel feel. Near all the trails i wanted to explore and restaurants. We went in the off season for the eclipse so some places were closed but in the open season you could eat out every night at a different place or stay in and cook.
