Quiet and serene RV/Van parking
Happy camper
The stars at night! That was the first thing that stood out, next was how quiet it was, and of course the hosts were so welcoming. Thank you for being such animal advocates and rescuing unwanted and abused dogs. Your doggos were adorable. For future campers..hike the trails, they're awesome and very well marked. I will return in the spring.

We totally agree with all the other reviews. James was a welcoming host and patiently answered all our questions. The resident dogs are friendly. If we had more time, we would have really enjoyed the pavilion. The trails were the best part of it, extremely well-marked. We had our own private park to explore at our leisure. We recommend arriving during the day and in dry weather. It’s close enough to Santa Fe that you could commute into the city and enjoy your privacy at night.

Quiet and serene RV/Van parking
The host met us on site to orient us and he was very friendly. Beautiful piece of land with nice furnishings including well-kept pit toilet, communal pavilion space with many amenities, and two trail options. We were surprised to hear dogs and coyotes howling in the forest, which the host later reassured us is a common occurrence. Unfortunately, one of dogs belonging to the host barked on site throughout the evening and morning, detracting from the peacefulness of the experience.

Quiet piece of forest
JC has a lovely corner of land outside of Santa Fe in Glorieta, and welcomed us at the site and helped us get setup. As he let us know, it's highly recommended that you get there before sunset, as it gets dark fast and it is a curvy, unpaved mountain road up to the site. If you are looking to spend a few days in the woods to get away, this is a great spot with nearby historic sites and hiking trails.

Loved the land! Beautiful property and amazing hosts. They gave me a warm welcome and made sure I was all situated on their land. Great hiking trails as well. Very quiet and peaceful. I definitely recommend staying here.
