Property was beautiful in the fall. Stayed up at the second site. You definitely need 4x4 or high clearance to get up the path to second site. Both sites were large and had fire pits. The surrounding area is lovely will definitely stay here again.

Really beautiful, and quiet. If it weren’t for the distant barking from dogs at neighboring houses, you would think you were completely isolated. Easy to find. Full cell service. We chose the smaller campsite. We also drove 15 minutes to sit in on one of the free summer lectures at the observatory (April-Oct). Great spot - definitely coming back.

Nice remote spot not far from NYC
Really good place to escape. Only like 40 miles from NYC. There is a good, large spot to set up camp and endless hiking and fire wood (if you are willing to gather your own). Very late at night or I guess early in the morning you can very remotely hear trucks on Rt 80 but otherwise feels remote. Make sure you have a higher clearance on vehicle bc it is a bit off-road with areas you can scrape the vehicle bottom. There are two nice benches near the fire pit, could use a table. Overall highly recommend.

Scenic Jenny Jump
Jenny jump was such a lovely site! It was spacious enough for six people and a dog, with room for tents and car sleeping. We enjoyed roaming around the land and sitting by the fire. We didn’t find the second group camping site until the second day, but we were happy with the smaller site we stayed at, which is beautifully surrounded by beech trees. I will say it was a bit hard to find the turn off into the site, but otherwise we will definitely be coming back :-)

Site was nice. We were only there overnight and our trip was cut short by the remnants from a hurricane. We plan to return to the site, with a tarp next-time. lol.

Friend of mine recommend this place for camping. It was first time camping for my wife and boys. Property is large and secluded. Web of hiking/ATV trail at the property for exploring. Main camping area has stone fire pit and bench. I would definitely be back for camping and will recommend this to everyone.
Thing to note:
-Trail up to the main camp area is narrow and overgrown. AWD is recommended and may scratch the car.
-Main camping area has many large earth warms which is great creature but may freak out wives.
-Large acorns fall all over the property may hit car and tent.
-Shockingly not many mosquito and they appear around evening and then gone.
-Turning the vehicle around at the property was challenging
-You must bring own toilet
