Nice little patch of heaven under no light stars on our farm. It's really cool to see every star as it gets very dark when the sun goes down. Very quiet except the frogs and critters chirping.
Campsite is situated next to our pond with a dock and paddle boat. We've caught some nice sunfish and catfish here in this pond. Nice fire ring and stumps to use for tables or to sit on. This is a nice little spot for a stop off to enjoy the evening as you travel or stay a few nights! There are no restrooms on site. Water is available. Downtown Carrollton is about 3 miles away with a very nice grocery store, Up Town Brewery, shops and restaurants. We also have a new city swimming pool with slides Memorial Day through Labor Day, and the Burger bar restaurant!
At this time we are limiting space to tent campers or single axle campers. Access to the pond is on a field and too heavy of a camper may be an issue if it rains.Come camp under the stars in rural Missouri! You'll have full access to set up your tent or small camper in the mowed area shown in the pictures, as well as the opportunity to hike around our property. We do have beans planted in the fields adjacent to the camp site and so we ask that you respect those areas and don’t drive or turn around in them. Our campsite has a fire ring, pond, dock and paddle boat for your use. Catch and Release fishing for sunfish and catfish will be the highlight of this spot as well as an amazing view of the stars at night! This open air site has a secluded feeling with nothing around is very peaceful. We do not have restroom accessible facilities so please plan on bringing all appropriate amenities with you! Access to our campsite will be off our county gravel road, down a dirt trail, then a left down grass “drive” to the site. Our site is limited to tents and and small single axle campers. NO large campers, 5th wheels or RVs. The terrain and access will not accommodate large or heavy vehicles. Wood can be supplied upon request.
While you’re in the area take some time to enjoy our great little town by dining at Brewery Bar restaurant that serves a variety of microbrews and great pizza, Main Street cafe, Well-Seasoned or Ol’ Boys BBQ or El Toro Mexican restaurant. For a unique shopping experience you can visit The Mercantile, Shirley’s, The Corner Store and Glenda’s Creative Corner and our new Aquatic Center ( summer hours) with a climbing wall and slides and the Carrollton Park all offer some fun for the kiddos in your family! We look forward to hosting you on our farm!
