Misty's Meadow at Turtle Bend Farm
Good times
We showed up with a pretty big pack of family for my son's 4th birthday camping trip party. Everyone loved the site and all the kids loved the animals that wandered by from time to time.
It's laid back and quiet- until the 3 minutes of train passes by... but it's over fast.
Use care and stake your tents well... sometimes a pretty stiff wind blows by out of nowhere.
Everyone had fun and some of my family will probably visit on their own.

Beautiful fall camping - wish I had more time to explore a trail that went down from the farm - lots of cows milling about which was cute. Found some ticks and critters as well - part of it.

Margaret's farm was great! The cows came over to look at us over the fence and I was surprised how friendly they were! Happy cows! Be prepared for a train, which you cannot see, but can definitely hear! The meadow and scenery were fantastic, and the crickets and frogs sung us to sleep.

Secluded farm camp under the stars
What a wonderful stay! We fell asleep to crickets and barred owls, and woke to the catbirds and cows. The secluded spot up above the barn offers such great views of the ridges and distant hills. Thanks so much for hosting us Felix and Margaret :)

You want remote camping, you get it
Very, very rustic. If you want to be remote, this is the place. No one around but the farm animals. Be aware that not all farms are the same. This is not a cutesy place you'd see when going to a fall pumpkin festival, it's a working farm with lots of junk strewn around.
Also, not the owner's fault but Hipcamp charged me more than I was quoted.
