Huge vegan-friendly kitchen with garden views. Large communal upstairs and down. 420-friendly. (Good!) dog-friendly.
Art (of varying quality) everywhere, some of which is for sale. Tons of books. Unusual quirky layout-guaranteed to appeal to fellow creatives, but may cause consternation to guests expecting a more conventional home.
Gentle, literary and friendly vibe. Work on your novel, meet up with friends. Drive to the Granville Gorge and get your feet wet. Music, fire pit for bonfire.Take a break from hardcore camping and relax, play in the woods. Paint, dance, write and draw. Rest and recoup. Stretch your body in the downstairs yoga swing!
*Fully equipped kitchen, two full baths *Big dining room table *fireplace *two king bedrooms, one queen, one adorable antique twin-bed in the upstairs alcove. Mostly-private wooded backyard with fire pit. Grills for cooking. Berry bushes, strawberries and also various shrooms (for experienced foragers). Towels and bed linens provided.
Berkshire foothills. Close to all kinds of hiking, climbing. Good for biking, XC skiing, antiquing.
We do ask that you make use our electric fans and fireplace (in lieu of baseboard heat and aircon) as much as possible. We do want you to be comfortable, so use what you need, just do your best to help us conserve resources.
