Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
We welcome you to enjoy a stay on this little peaceful slice of Maine heaven bordering 1600 acres of George’s highland preserve and 7 miles of Oyster River trails, connecting route 90 to route 1. There are many lakes and ponds in the area and the ocean is only 10 minutes away. Everything you need is near by, but you’ll have a feeling of being removed from it all.Park and take a short walk down through a mowed path in the meadow, pitch a tent nestled in a little gully at the edge of the forest. A cleared area with a stone fire pit should be a perfect place to clear your mind and feel connected in the best way possible. The sunsets here are a perfect bonus!

We loved our campsite! It was so beautiful and easy to find! There were two torches to keep the mosquitoes away that we loved!

An absolute gem of a campsite! A fairly large campsite carved into a beautiful field that butts up to the woods. It's far enough away from the house to feel like you have plenty of privacy. Lots of trails to explore and while we were there we didn't see anyone but the homeowners. Minutes from Camden and Rockport, which means minutes from the water! I'm definitely going to be back to this one!

We loved camping at Angella’s place- the field is lovely and the view was amazing. The camping area feels quite private, it’s distant from the main home and there was enough room for more than one tent if you’re traveling with a few people. The fire ring was really nice, with firewood available on site, and Angella provided a cart to make it easy to bring stuff down the grassy path to the site. And there was a hose too, which was really helpful. The location was great- a close drive to both Rockland and Camden. We camped here so we could take the ferry over to Monhegan Island for a day trip, and it was great to go out for dinner nearby too. Angella was a great communicator and her family was very sweet. We’ll definitely stay here again if we’re back in the area!
