Creature comforts
Enjoy the comforts of home—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
Enjoy the day at the beautiful Carter Caves State Park and escape the crowds when you stay at our house! The Rock Bridge and river pictured are at Carter Caves. Plan to unplug and unwind down a narrow road in our open floor plan, three bed and one bath home. Two bedrooms each have a queen bed while the third has a set of bunk beds. The living room also has two futons. Bedding and towels are not provided, so please bring your own! The kitchen, however, should have most everything you need.3 bedroom, 1 bath house with open floor plan. Kitchen basics are there. There is a stove, refrigerator, keurig, and microwave. We have dishes and utensils as well. 2 bedrooms have queen beds. 1 bedroom has a set of twin bunk beds. There are also 2 futons in the living room. Pack n play may be available if requested in advance. If occupancy is greater than 8 due to children, please talk to us. Bring your own sheets and blankets. Also, bring your own towels, for the kitchen and bath. No animals or smoking! Please leave the house as you found it. Clean up after yourself and don't leave any trash. Please dispose of it yourself! Our house is down a narrow road, with 2 way traffic. It isn't very heavily traveled, but it's good to know that you might need to pull over to let someone through. One of our favorite features about this house is the lack of a cell signal. If we need to use our phones briefly, we usually drive about a half mile up to the top of the hill.

Our Kentucky House
The house was clean and cozy. The mountain scenery was beautiful. It was a quiet area. Also very close to the cave parks.
