All to yourself
100% of recent Hipcampers say this Hipcamp felt private.
Recently acquired property that used to be a farm. We are working to clean up the debris and add in trails, enjoy what we have to offer as we improve! Some areas are off limits for safety. We have a small pen of kunekunes pigs on the property as well. Note-. This is an active family property so you will hear/see children and normal family activities.Grassy spot under a tree, next to our silos. About a 20' circle-ish spot for a tent. Near the middle of the 8 acres, this spot is very serene, and the closest to a parking area. This site does not have a table. Depending on the time of year, enjoy picking wild raspberries or taking in the colorful foliage. Lots of opportunity to enjoy wildlife. Mostly flat terrain with lots of trees and brambles. Parking spot can fit 2 vehicles but you will have to back out of the narrow drive, 1 vehicle will have space to turn around. 1 mile from town. -Includes a small bundle of firewood, more available for $5/bundle (PayPal or cash) -Gallon of potable water included (our water contains iron, so it's slightly discolored but is safe to drink, my own family uses it daily) *Property is adjacent to a public cemetery, just an fyi 😏. *We do have a small # pigs and poultry on the property nearer the road, so you might hear us caring for them in the morning and evenings. *This property is in progress and does contain debris from previously being abandoned, so there are some sections that are off-limits, hence the pricing. We are working to add more sites, remove invasive plants, and construct trails 🙂.

I enjoyed how tucked away this spot is. It’s spacious and the firewood was a great touch. The owner and her son were both very friendly. 5 stars

A great stop!

The site was phenomenal in my 10 year Olds words!! Had a great experience as the host met us and made sure we were all set, very accommodating. We had everything we needed and the stars were amazing, much more than what we can see in the city. Great experience and wake up to the sounds of the farm, roosters and pigs!!!

Great hosts and stars
Tent
The hosts were so great even though they were incredibly busy. Made sure directions in were super clear! Great stargazing in a nice secluded area, super quiet. The free first bundle of firewood made the site super convenient. The branches do get low on the drive into the campsite so larger vehicles (moving trucks, campers, etc) may have a more difficult time

Aramenta and Jessie are great hosts, it's a beautiful, super quiet and peaceful camp spot, and I'll definitely go back! Very un-busy road, too, which is all the more tranquil!
