No cicadas! Halfway between Atlanta and Chattanooga and only 5 miles off I75 sits this quiet oasis in the country! Perfect for travelers or workers in the area! Camp by the creek and let your worries fade away. This peaceful, quiet site offers primitive camping on the banks of the creek, and you are welcome to get your feet wet. The sites are large with flat fields, and plenty of natural privacy as well as some shaded areas. Perfect for self contained campers or tents. There is no power or water available on site! Walnut Creek is a DOUBLE SIZED site, perfect for 2 groups, or one large group or those who don't want anyone nearby. You pay once, both sites are included. Best creek access is here. Looking for a single site? Check out Cedar Creek or Creekside. Cedar Creek is a beautiful site, perfect for any type of camping. RV, tent, car campers, what have you. Creekside is only for tents or small campers and is our most private site.

Secluded, by a river, shaded areas, clean and flat. Couldn't really ask for more. Host is very nice and accommodating.

Creekside Tent/Carcamping

The creekside site was really private and quiet since nobody else was there. You can see the other sites, so if you want lots of privacy, keep that in mind.

Quiet and relaxing place

We camped here on July 3rd after camping and traveling for 4 weeks. This was our last night and loved the quiet shady and grassy site away from the hustle and bustle of public campgrounds.
