A history lesson is top of the agenda for park visitors, so follow in the footsteps of the pioneers at the Log Cabin Museum, before heading down to the sandy swimming beach to cool off with a swim. Getting on the water is also a must, whether you bring your own boat, rent a kayak or canoe, or go fishing and hiking around the lakeshore. Campers can choose between RV sites, hike-in tent sites, and cozy cottages.
