One of my favorite hipcamp finds
The entire campground is phenomenal! I would recommend 8 for someone using either a rooftop tent (as I did) and camping in a camper shell setup or small tent. George is awesome as well, very attentive with everything and friendly. The history of the are is something you should be sure to ask him about it is all very interesting. Working on editing a video of a campground tour (TikTok and YouTube) I will be sure to make one of the searches castleberry ridge for anyone wanting to do some prior research before visiting.

Best tent camping Ever!
This place is incredible! A small tent camp ground suited for family fun, small groups, couples, seniors or just about anybody who wants to enjoy the outdoors. A lot of history and legends here. All sites are along the creek, peaceful, relaxing and very enjoyable for evening/night time fires and stories around the campfire. A definite Stay!

So peaceful and pretty!
What a lovely experience camping at Castleberry Bridge was. If you love primitive camping, you're going to love this place. A couple of things to know before you go... it is primitive camping, there isn't any water or electricity at the site or on the grounds. So bring your water jug and power banks. There is a very well kept and clean Porta potty near the entrance to the campground but no bathhouse for bathrooms or showers. My experience: I tried to register on hipcamp's registration portal and encountered some technical difficulties. I reached out to the host and Ginny responded within minutes. We communicated about the error and she encouraged me to go ahead and go to the site and that we would settle it all when I got there. She put me in touch with Nick & George who were on site & true to her word Nick worked with me when I got there until we were able to get it resolved. George was so sweet taking me for a tour and helping me figure out which site would be ideal for putting up my Hammock. Every site has a fire pit with seating and a pile of firewood. The grounds are exceptionally well kept and the campground is peaceful and quiet. I loved being right on the river. My entire experience with this campground was excellent and I can't wait to camp here again!

This was one of the most beautiful places I have been to camp! It was right on the river and really relaxing. It's close enough to stuff if you need something you can get it but gives you the perfect primitive camping experience! Mr. George and his family have made this place amazing and so welcoming we will go back.
