Full RV hookups
Electrical, water, and sewage hookups are available at all sites.
This property has 5 RV sites. 4 have 30 amp power, 1 has 50 amp. All sites have water. There is a waste water dump station, trash cans for trash. Access is directly off Hwy 20, a 4 lane paved road. Camp sites are on the front of the property. With easy access and clearance from overhead trees. Plenty of room to navigate your rig, so parking is a easy. Rv sites are behind a double set of iron gates, fenced secure property. There is a active Florida department of agriculture hemp farm on the property, There's animals on the property but outside of the fenced camp area other than ducks or chickens may come around the camp area. The Gainesville Hawthorne trail runs along the backside of the property. This trail is part of the Florida state park Paynes Prarie. A bike/walking/horse trail that was previously a railroad running from Downtown Gainesville to Hawthorne. Purchased by the state and paved on one side for bicycles and grass on the other half for horse riding. It allows you to ride right into Gainesville Downtown /Depo park area. We are 11.5 miles down the trail from Downtown Gainesville. The back of the property also has Lochloosa creek passing through it, so you'll be able to see the old train bridge that the state park trail uses to get over the creek. We have a few loaner bikes guests may use. Downtown Gainesville is a 15min drive. Hawthorne about 6 minutes. Bike ride aprox a hour to Gainesville. If your towing horses, they may graze within the camping area. If multiple guests then we will ask you to move your horse to the bigger pasture. Pets are welcome, please be responsible for them. Outside of the fenced camp area we have pet cows and donkeys... There all trained as pets, never going to be eaten, they love snacks, your welcome to feed an pet them. Remember donkeys may not react well to a aggressive dog so keep your dogs leashed. There's a pond on the property with white ducks. The first pictures are of the camp area. The next pictures are of the trail, an Depo park where the trail leads to. Depo park has food and entertainment. The Cade museum and plenty of restaurants an pubs downtown. Electric bikes are allowed on the trail. It's very nice. If you need anything we're always on the property The gates are open during the day, around midnight we lock them. Ypu will be given the lock code if you choose to leave late or come back late. The restaurants and bars close in Gainesville at 2am. Camp fires are permitted. 😁

Camping in a Hurricane.
Brandon our host was incredible. Quiet spot off the road near Gainsville. Perfect spot for a football weekend without the crowd. Was a safe place during hurricane Milton.
