Goat House Farm is a 501(c)3 owned micro-farm in a rural area of Tallahassee on the beautiful Lake Talquin. The farm has its humble beginnings in the summer of 2015 with four acres, four goats, and four chickens. Founded on the love of animals and a passion for sustainability, we remain committed to compassionate practices and the most natural care of our land and animals as possible. As stewards of the land and herd, we believe we have a responsibility to share nature's blessings. We offer several agritourism opportunities on the farm, from farmstays to day visits. Our primary program is to serve area youth with agricultural education and the opportunities to work with our goats. All proceeds from bookings go toward our programming. To support that endeavor, we sell chicken eggs, specialty cottage goods, honey, and natural goat milk and honey products. We will love monthly rentals. I learned to swim in the spring just down the road. When pulling into the property turn just in front of the 5 rivers adventure airboat tours blue sign. DO NOT TURN unless you turn into drive way on left. if you go strait on wacissa springs road you will be able to turn around. Turn by hipcamp signs. Has 50 amp hookups so you will need an adapter for 30 amps. Water and septic available. We aren't picky on spots all four are pretty much the same so if you show up just park in any spot you want. I have 5 but only advertise 2!

Private campsite in the middle of the city! My family and I were lucky enough to find a four acre urban forest less than two miles from FSU, the Florida Capitol and downtown Tallahassee. And just a mile from midtown! We are welcoming tent campers to come experience camping in an urban forest. The camping area has a hot water shower and sink, and the main site (#76), is fully outfitted with fire ring, tent pad, fresh water, a picnic table and plenty of hammock trees! The camp area has space for up to 6 tent campers and 2 cars. All sites share the shower and sink areas and a port-o-potty that is professionally cleaned weekly. Sprinter style vans (UPDATE) - We successfully had a Sprinter Van on the site and have now started accepting booking for that style van. Due to limitations on space and clearance, we can only allow vans with a max of around 10 1/2' tall and 23' long. This is equivalent to a Sprinter 170. We can not fit RVs or extended wide bodies conversions. Pets: Pets on leashes are allowed on the property. Guests with aggressive animals will be asked to leave.

If you are real adventurous you can help around the farm!!! LOCATION- We are located in northeast Tallahassee and only about twenty minutes from FSU stadium - straight shot! We love to host parents and students! Great weekend getaway! ***We also offer primitive camping sites as well in The Orchard area. No electric at campsites. WATER is available. *Need room for more occupants?? See optional add-ons for rental tent/screen rooms we will set up to allow for additional occupants at our units. Or pay small tent fee to bring your own and place near your site. KITCHEN- *We have a small outdoor kitchen area with grill, griddle, stove, utensils, and picnic table. Basic cooking supplies are provided in your unit (oil, salt, pepper, etc) basic cookware, utensils, disposable and washable cups and plates. You are welcome to pick from the garden when its complete. There is also a common area, to eat and hang out. We will soon have a community fire pit for all to enjoy. BATHHOUSE- In the Homestead area we have a small rustic community bath house with a hot shower and a running toilet. Soap, shampoo, conditioner, and fresh towels provided. The Primitive Orchard area has cold water faucets and compost toilet. Both bath houses are close to all overnight areas. CHECK IN/Check-out time may be flexible depending upon concurrent bookings! We ask that you clear your campsite by 11am, but you are welcome to spend the remainder of the day hanging out with the goats, riding or just relaxing. Check in time is 2pm or later. Unless you are a returning guest please arrive before 7pm. (ALL late arrivals must be approved ahead of time, unless emergency.) PARKING- Temporary UNLOADING/LOADING- Parking for one vehicle near site. Must park in nearby guest parking afterwards. It is for the safety of our animals. We have too many free roaming animals. Note: This is Florida and a rustic farmstay. There are bugs and spiders on the property. One may even end up in the domes or tents. Please understand this before complaining about bugs. I want to make sure everyone knows it happens! We love our domes and tents, but you should know this isn't an apartment in the city :)

This is the beautiful wild coast of Florida's "Big Bend." Located halfway between Perry to the north and Steinhatchee to the south, Keaton Beach is an outpost town with a laidback, relaxing atmosphere. No motels, no fast food. The wild, natural public beach has a shaded picnic area, restrooms, a boat ramp and a 700-foot fishing pier. These are prime scalloping waters from mid to late summer, and the area is famous for year-round fishing. We recently bought this property with an old hunting cabin owned by a well known baseball coach. The cabin is currently transformed into a residence. We have 4 RV spots available in the front of the property.. Only an 8 minute drive to the sandy swimming beach of Keaton Beach (see pic above) or 20 min walking distance to Adams Sunset Beach. Stop by on your way to South Florida or up north. We do not have a maximum stay.. We have 50/30 and 15 amp sites available. 2 back it, 1 drive in, 1 pull through site. 2 sites are full hook up, 1 site 50 amp electric and water. 1 site 20 amp electric only. If you see "occupied" in the calendar we probably still have sites available. (we have a total of 4) Just contact us using a "free" day. What can you do in our area? Keaton Beach swimming area, fishing, legally ATV riding on miles of dirt roads, golf carts allowed on public streets, nature trails for hiking and bird watching, Hagen Cove Park is one of the darkest spots in Florida for stars watching, dinner at the Nowhere Grill with the famous Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich, a day trip to Tallahassee with the Railroad Square ( 55 min ) Lafayette Blue Springs State Park (40 min ), St. Marks Lighthouse (55 min )

Corbin's Folly

Located in Panacea Florida along the forgotten coast with fishing both salt and fresh water nearby. Panacea, "a solution or remedy for all difficulties or diseases." has a great history and once hosted a large hotel with Mineral Springwater. This is a perfect place for fishing, hiking and eco tourism. PLEASE be sure to contact me before your visit! I have a google my maps area map that has many locations and activities surrounding the area detailed. There are many day trip things to do and fantastic restaurants nearby. Gulf Specimen Marine Lab and Aquarium is less than a mile away with touch tanks for the kiddos and there are sharks, sea turtles, octopus and most every creature you'd find in the gulf of Mexico to view as well. They have touch tanks and an experience unrivaled by any Aquarium anywhere. When I volunteer there building exhibits and working on infrastructure I camp on the site. Mineral springs seafood is on the north edge of town and they offer both fresh seafood, smoked fish, fish and crab dips that people drive hundreds of miles for. The famous Wakulla springs is 30 min. close where many films were made sporting a lodge built with art deco influences and native American cultural embellishments, plus glass bottom boat rides and swimming in crystal clear water. Alligator point is just across the Ochlocknee bay bridge. St George Island and Apalachicola are less than an hour drive. Tallahassee state capital is about 35 min. north. There is a bike/ walking trail that interconnects all these areas and they are currently finishing the phase that directly connects Panacea which passes the campsite within a block. There are a multitude of fishing piers and boat launches in the surrounding area within a mile and further out. The street is quiet with little traffic and its just off the main road enough for you to have ease of access to all Panacea has to offer. The star gazing is incredible. There are Osprey and Eagles that inhabit undeveloped ocean marsh and woods to the south. All neighboring sites East and West are undeveloped so you basically have an entire area to yourself. There is a fire pit and plenty of room for multiple tents. I ask only that you pack out what you pack in and not use glass containers as they tend to break and I love being barefoot. Feel free to contact me with any questions. I'm always open to suggestions for improvements and I want you to enjoy the place as much as I do. I'm working toward eventually having water and electricity and maybe some day a home in the air.
