Spend some time away at our small but growing homestead located on 2 acres of pastures, within minutes of Wadsworth Falls, downtown Middletown full of cute shops and restaurants, and local walking/hiking trails. Come experience country life while being close to new places to explore, as well as being centrally located in CT, aka easy to get to wherever you need to go! Dogs are welcome.Driveway parking is available. Back pasture for camping is grassy, level land. No toilets available, please take waste with you. Regular trash and recycling is available at no extra fee. Chicken and duck eggs available for sale. Campers have access to hose for potable well water.

Heading to Acadia!
Jessica was very friendly and greeted us upon arrival, and was happy to share her land and firewood! She made us feel so welcome, letting us in with the chickens and ducks and letting our dog run free. We thoroughly enjoyed Jessica and her property!

Quiet Suburban hideaway
Great value and a friendly host. A lovely bucolic setting in the suburbs of Connecticut. Jessica has a very large backyard/slash hayfield with woods behind it. There were a lot of birds, including turkeys this morning, as well as deer. I could hear coyotes last night and two species of owls. Little traffic or neighborhood noise. The approach to the back was fine for my 22 foot van but vertical clearance was less than 10 feet. Also the approach is fairly steep since be cautious if it’s wet. Leveling would be difficult if you have slide outs, but fine for pickups or camper vans. Would definitely recommend with those minor caveats. 👍

Nice people, smaller than expected
Very nice people. Site description needed updating : there’s no accessible picknic table nor fire pit. The spot is also quite small, you’ll be on the side of the street. If you have a tent though, there’s a few great spots farther back on their land.
