Ranch Oasis ~ Truly Restful
This was the perfect spot for me to stay for a few days while in Durango. Beautiful setting, I loved the sunrises - sunsets, and moonrises. The donkeys and horses were cute and curious, they came through my camp a couple times and let me pet their ears & noses. This is a ranch so bring your (natural) bug repellent, but even without it it’s no big deal. I had privacy & I felt very safe the whole time. There is a creek running through the property that you can swim in & cool off if it’s hot. Linda is the kindest host, down to earth & so very helpful. This ranch is just outside the city, beautiful countryside setting with a short drive to the city or the airport. I highly recommended this spot to anyone looking for a quiet, safe, peaceful, restful place to stay in Durango Colorado. I would definitely stay here again anytime I am near the area.

This is a great place to camp while visiting Durango! Very quiet and the visit from the donkeys on our last night was fantastic. The portable toilet area with a luggable loo was clean and secluded. Linda is a fantastic host! We highly recommend.

Beautiful views
Quiet, scenic ranch away from town. Linda and her husband were so nice and loved hearing our plans. They have a couple cute dogs that want to be your friend. The bathroom is a tent with a composting toilet. There aren’t any showers, but there’s some in Durango.

The Durham’s give it 10 Thumbs Up!
We cannot say enough wonderful things about this site! Everyone (the adults, the kids, even the animals) had an amazing time! The donkeys were hilarious and the horses were gentle! My daughter spent a hours and hours just hanging out with them. The environment with the cactus, rabbits, lizards, etc… absolutely perfection! Linda was so kind and quick to answer! Made us feel like we were home! We cannot wait to come back again!
