South Park, in Park County,, Colorado. Prepare to be mesmerized by the 'Heart of Colorado,' where this campsite awaits. Surrounded by beautiful landscapes, it's a sanctuary for nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers. Immerse yourself in the refreshing scent of the valley, thriving in the semi-arid climate. Be awed by the dramatic sunrise and sunset, with the silhouette of grazing cattle in the distance. Park County is a renowned destination for fishing and hiking, and within a 50-mile radius, you'll find over five majestic 14ers, each one a conquest waiting to be achieved. And if that's not enough, the area is home to numerous reservoirs and lakes, all starting within a 30-minute drive. We kindly ask that you adhere to Leave No Trace principles during your visit. Please take note of the following information about the property: Two sets of campers will share 5 acres of land on this campsite, and each is welcome to 2.5 acres of land. No trees are on the premises, meaning there is no natural shade unless you bring a pop-up tent. Bring ample water, bug spray, and sunscreen for comfort and protection when you visit. Also, the property has no designated fire pit or driveway. Please drive up onto the land and be careful of rocks. Driftwood, aka Dohassen, is a dirt road. You can also get to Sugar Pine Lane on the county-maintained County Road 53. This is also a dirt road.

Heart of Colorado Campsite
This was a really beautiful campsite. It's very private, located on a road that hasn't been used much and isn't often traveled. The site is surrounded by gorgeous rolling hills, with mountains in the distance. It's very quiet, and a perfect place to spend the night, whether in a camper or a tent. I definitely recommend it, and the host has lots of plans for improving the site even more soon!

Heart of Colorado Campsite
Beautiful location with an amazing view of the mountains. The instructions to get there were a bit confusing since they don’t have signage yet but the host says they’ll be adding that very soon. There’s no amenities here, but it’s also priced accordingly and the view MORE than makes up for it. I’d definitely stay again and highly recommend Jennifer’s land.
