Take a break and unplug in a peaceful mountain setting. We've set up this authentic camping experience to share the charm and serenity of our property. Our beautiful 5 acre redwood forest property includes a flat area for setting up camp and is otherwise mostly sloped. The campsite itself consists of this flat area, some camping chairs and a table. From that area there are a few quick trails to explore. The location feels entirely secluded but the town of Boulder Creek is only an 11 minute drive away offering all amenities (including some great restaurants!).Guest access You will have access to a large portion of the acreage including parking. We will provide a map detailing the property limits. Amenities Please bring everything you require for a pleasant stay including your own sleeping accommodations, food and bathroom solutions. Campfire Restrictions Campfires are not permitted during a NWS Red Flag warning or a BLM Central California District (Central Coast Field Office) restriction. https://www.weather.gov/wrh/fire?wfo=sto https://www.blm.gov/programs/public-safety-and-fire/fire-and-aviation/regional-info/california/fire-restrictions

This was a great spot! We found it exactly as described here and it felt completely safe and like we had the whole mountain to ourselves! Our host was great, offering clear directions and checking in on us through the app. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area!

Peaceful retreat
The hosts were very responsive prior to booking to answer questions and also while we were en route and misguided by Waze. Dropped us a pin and found the site no problem. Tip: download the map they offer at booking prior to leaving. We couldn't open the link from my phone while on the road. The site itself felt very private and has plenty of space. Literally at the end of the road at the top of the hill. As described there is not a lot of flat space but worked fine for our slightly unique setup. We could level our small trailer no problem and have some flat space for our shower/bathroom tent. Note in the pictures you can see there is not a lot of room for maneuvering so I wouldn't want to bring a larger rig and I was happy to have off-road capability because of some steep hill and loose dirt. We had no problem but every person's situation is different. Tent camping out of a car would be easy enough. There is seating and a table provided and the views are lovely. Flies were a bit of a nuisance and we were wishing we had brought our screened tent for relaxing outside. But that's camping :) All-in-all a good experience and in a part of the Bay Area that although possibly a little challenging to get to, is unique and worth exploring.

Beautiful Mountain Top Campsite
Nice private campsite
Private campsite, surrounded by tall trees. It has a great view of mountains, a water access for washing, gas grill, table, chairs, and nice little trails. All paved roads until the campsite. Only minor complaint was the ground condition. One side of the campsite has short hard plants that could hurt your feet. Make sure to wear proper shoes. Also the ground is pretty hard. If you are sleeping in a tent, bring a hammer.
Location
Boulder Creek, Santa Cruz, California, United StatesTraditional, ancestral territory of Ohlone, Awaswas, and Muwekma First Nations according to To respect the Host's privacy, the precise address of this land will be provided after booking
