Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
RV spots are available for the 2024 Eclipse at the edge of the Ozark Mountains, just north of Dover. Surrounded by mountains, the area experiences minimal light pollution, creating an ideal setting for magnificent star-gazing. We offer a maximum of 10 camping spots with no minimum number of nights required. Check-in is possible as early as Friday night, allowing you to explore this beautiful area at your leisure! ATV rentals are conveniently located nearby for exploring trails through the national forest land, or you can bring your own. Additionally, there are plenty of hiking trails and other attractions to explore in the vicinity. Kayak, raft, and canoe rentals are available approximately 10 minutes away, offering the opportunity to float along the scenic Big Piney Creek. Please note that only self-contained RV camping is permitted, and the use of a quiet generator is required. Water top-offs are available for a small charge, although the water is considered potable, it's not recommended for drinking due to the need to pump into tanks using portable water tanks. Black water haul-offs are also available for a fee.
