This a flat, 1/2 acre grassy desert lot in the small town of Peeples Valley, Arizona. There is a fuel station/convenience store nearby on HWY 89 with gas and diesel. It is located roughly 45 minutes to an hour from Wickenburg, Prescott, HWY 93 to Las Vegas, and around 2 hours away from Sedona or Phoenix. On average it is 10-20 degrees cooler here than in the deserts of Arizona. The Granite Mountain Hotshots trail is within 10 miles, as well as the gorgeous town of Yarnell, famous for its boulders and antique shops.
Wild deer and rabbits frequently visit this lot, attracted by the safety of the neighborhood. Proceeds from the rent of this property will go towards developing it into orchard/meadow space (as the water table is high enough to support trees).
This is a space that has no amenities as of yet, but it is a safe, low traffic space to park a rig overnight on the way to somewhere more exciting. :) As of now, we will only allow one camper or group of campers on this lot per night. If you rent it, you won't be sharing it with anyone else.
Please feel free to ask questions, but keep in mind that this is for short term (3 nights maximum) stays only. This is a quiet, grassy, bare desert lot in a small, rural, residential neighborhood. Deer and rabbits frequent the lot and there is space for anything smaller than a Class A or B RV. It is a good stop off place to spend the night between Phoenix and Sedona if you're enjoying the scenic drive up HWY 89. There is a convenience store with gas and diesel nearby that tends to average lower prices than in the valley below. The drive here is very scenic, and the temperature tends to be 10-20 degrees cooler on average than in Phoenix.
Proceeds from the rent from this lot will go towards planting both native and non-invasive fruit trees on it, both to provide fruit to residents and provide erosion control (the water table is high enough there to support them without the need for additional watering when they are established).
