The Kings Cottage

Remote off-grid mountain cottage that sits on atop a ridge on 5 acres.  If your looking for solitude, peace and quiet, look no further.  The Kings Cottage is located in Hoodsport, WA above the beautiful Lake Cushman and Lake Kokanee.  Our special place on the mountain is a few minutes drive to downtown where you can enjoy the local fare and steps away from the Olympic National Park and beautiful Mount Elinor and access to private parks on the lake.  You can, hike, go swimming, fishing, play golf frisbee.. so many activities here in Hoodsport, WA.

Malaney Creek Farm

MCF is situated 12 minutes NE of Shelton Washington with secluded wetlands nested against the SW shores of Spencer Lake. Covering over 124 acres MCF offers terrain from grassy fields to heavily wooded forests and an abundance of sanctuary wetlands.  Being surrounded mostly by private timberlands expands the remote feeling this location has to offer. More than 3 miles of  maintained trails deliver single track/ pedestrian/equine pathways to wider trails joined by a main trunk trail large enough for vehicles.
Malaney Creek meanders through a cool grassy tree lined meadow where a 40 year old wooden bridge serving the main driveway can be viewed. 
Established in 1977 as a resident farm, MCF was once rich with an old growth ceder forest feeding a cedar mill and railroad built by early settlers of Mason County. Remnants of the old growth giants still remain.


Exploring the Wetlands trail was the best part of our entire trip here!

Tahuya Adventure Resort

3 sisters and our brother in law decided we wanted to make a place where people can enjoy the Northwest that we grew up in.  It doesn't matter if you bring your own tent, drive an rv, or rent the luxury tent, the great outdoors is there for all to enjoy!

We have great places to pitch your own tent and enjoy the rustic pleasures just being outdoors. The sites are rustic and access to trails are nearby. We also have a wonderful covered outdoor kitchen with propane grill, microwave, and coffee pot. A safe place to gather with family.

Bring your RV and park and have a large site to yourself. You have room to spread out your awning without hitting the next vehicle. Each site has its own picnic table and fire ring. Also if you are in the mood you have a covered kitchen to meet and mingle with other guests. We also have a big screen tv in the kitchen so you don't miss the Seahawks games.

Drive in and enjoy a lovely view of unspoiled woods from the deck of your canvas tent. Enter the door into a spacious area with a king or queen
 size bed and small kitchen area. Each tent has its own heat source for your comfort. Each tent has its
table right outside on the deck but it you are feeling social come enjoy our outdoor kitchen.  We are open year round and It is different every season

Our guests love staying here "This site has absolutely everything you need. You'll want to bring your own shampoo and conditioner, but I think that was the only things I noticed I'd want. They even had firewood for us, no extra charge! David, his wife, and everyone else that helps maintain the property were SO sweet and welcoming. Seems like it would be a lovely place to stay in the winter, so thats when I'd like to come back! 5 stars all the way for everything here, the thoughtfulness of the cabins, the cleanliness, the readily available kitchen and the hospitality. You NEED to check this place out."

Ravenshouse

My husband and I were looking for a beautiful secluded spot away from the city, but close enough to it, to be able to reach our clients. After a year of looking we found Ravenhouse on beautiful Harstine Island located in the Puget Sound. 40 miles from Olympia and 85 miles from Seattle.  There are 3 state parks on the island, great kayaking and boating on the island. Come chill, create or just do your thing. My husband and I are filmmakers and we love to hear new stories, but we are busy and will always respect your privacy and be respectful of your space.Learn more about this land:Stay in our yurt!  On our secluded property on Harstine Island located in the Puget Sound.  Surrounded by cedar, firs, pines, apple, pear, and fig trees. Quiet and Serene a perfect getaway to regroup, chill or create. Healing Hearts Ranch

Healing Hearts Ranch was started to inspire hope and healing through partnership with horses. Equine Assisted Learning sessions are available by contacting your host for more information.
The ranch is 23 acres partially wooded with a nature trail and open fenced paddocks and fields. We have a herd of horses on the property and offer Equine Assisted Learning and riding lessons onsite. Tent site is in wooded area at back of property, porta potty by the barn available. Water from spigot by tent site.
Guests love it here: "What a nice surprise! I was not sure what to expect staying on a horse ranch, but it was everything I could have hoped for and more. Kristy was an awesome host and there was one other group up by the rv pad, but we hardly saw them. Dogs were very friendly and Kristy let us use a propane fire-pit to provide warmth and a fire for our tent site. The bathrooms were clean and there was some water by our site, but we did not use it.
The camp, for the tent site… we arrived and she drove us all over her property and told us to just choose where we wanted to camp. We chose to stay in back of the horse area. While we could see the house from there, we didn’t care and if you want to move back in the woods further, there are spots back there too that would provide more privacy if you need that. This is a great site and a one of a kind experience being that close to the horses."

Beautiful secluded land, surrounded by 100 ft Pine trees, plenty of shade with private access to Trails End Canal which leads beautiful Serene Trails End Lake, Great swimming, fishing and kayaking (no gas boats allowed) also Mason Lake is 5 mins. away which allows all motorized vehicles ,also 5 mins. away from Hood Canal (warmest saltwater body in Pacific Northwest) 15 mins. away from Twanoh State Beach Park, plenty of parking spaces, tent spaces available
