Browning Hollow is an adorable campsite on the bank of the East Satsop River. Privacy all around. We are just outside of sleepy little Satsop, WA and just a mile outside of Schafer State Park. The site is big enough for multiple trailers, campers or just some good old fashioned tent camping. room for reunions or family get togethers. multiple parking spots and restroom on site. Come play some corn hole with your friends or just relax by the river with a book and watch the bald eagles fish. This is a great site for fishermen and women as it has an IDEAL fishing hole. (Be sure to check your regs for seasons.) Great fire pit perfect for sitting around and roasting smores. Firewood and starters included!! Lots of room to spread out with almost an acre of camping space.

Lake Cushman Camping Lot is a perfect place to park your RV. (Note: This is a back in spot and you must have experience backing up your RV). The lot has full hookups , internet and is very quiet. This lot is within the Lake Cushman golf course area, within driving distance to The Olympic National Park, Puget Sound, and various lakes and rivers. Lake Cushman consists of three lakes, one for speed boats and two for non-motorized boats. The community is located just off of Highway 101, close to the city of Hoodsport, WA!

This was our second year visiting Jim's lot because it is a perfect setup. Easy to get in and out, great gazebo level site. Super quiet. Full hookup and super clean. 5 minutes yo the golf course and 10 minutes to town. Five stars!!

We had a wonderful time here. It was hot and being able to take a dip in the river was amazing. There is tons of wildlife here including what we think is a beaver family quite close by, who were very active in the early morning. Lots of fish, bats, a variety of birds including a heron, coyotes in the distance and deer tracks in the site. The picnic table is great and shaded partially by the big tree. We would recommend bringing a canopy or tarp with you in the summer as otherwise the camp is fairly exposed. The site feels very private from the main house. There is some other activity on the river but far enough away that we were still able to relax. We'll definitely be back.

Thank you so much for a wonderful camping experience! We loved our time at Browning Hollow. The river is incredibly slow and peaceful - perfect for floating on a tube or swimming with the fish! We played croquet on the lawn, fly fished up river, went out to Wesport for the day and had fresh oysters and tuna for dinner! We will be back to spend more time at this secluded and private spot!

The space is private, and big enough to very comfortably fit the 6 of us plus our dog. Fishing was great, and the provided amenities were above and beyond. We'll definitely be back, this was a gem on the river with nothing but wilderness 360 degrees around you. Highly recommend!

This spot is beautiful in a quiet neighborhood. The neighbors are friendly but not intrusive. There are lakes with swimming close. Although we didn’t have kids, the lakes include playgrounds for kids if they get tired of playing in the water. There are also hikes nearby, there was a fire when we visited so we weren’t able to do the hikes but found plenty to do. It’s quiet, quiet quiet if that’s important to you.

This was our second time staying here-we spent 4 nights on the Satsop River- a perfect finishing touch to an exceptional month long journey. We immediately spread out and got serious about lounging. Weekdays are definitely the most peaceful and private days to enjoy the river. Weekday folks floating by in rafts and kayaks were very respectful of our space and privacy. Nice touches on the new solar lights and picnic table. Wildlife in the evening hours is plentiful. See you the next time around!

Very nice spot! We loved the neighborhood and our dogs enjoyed the walks there. We especially loved the covered patio spot. We have ATT and there is not cell service there but we just went into Hoodsport and saved the directions to each trail we were doing on our phones. We will definitely be back!

This is a great private site. You will be woken up by roosters everyday. We brought in our own pop up camper and our friends stayed in the RV on site. The RV is old and run down but does the job. The site was on the canal and was fully fenced. You can walk to the nearby boat launch or paddle board down the canal to the main lake.

We absolutely LOVED our stay! It was perfect for our needs. The property is safely enclosed for kids or pets. Being able to offer the kids the freedom of “fishing” when they wanted right from camp, being able to launch and beach our kayaks and paddle boards and blow up boat without having to transport was amazing. This is a great option for families. The hosts were amazing and felt like family.

Our group had a great time! The host was super friendly and attentive. The site was a good size with a very clean portapotty. We loved having the string lights and gazebo. It was also nice having two types of firepits. Keep in mind it's in a neighborhood, but the drive to Lake Cushman was worth it!
