Water hookup for your RV is under the patio and there is a 50ft hose there for use if you need it.

A quick 5 min walk to the public access bridge to cross Conner's Creek, this is a private campsite for your next beach retreat. Located in Copalis Beach WA, you are close to Griffith Priday state park and natural area and a general store right down the road for all your needs while you're away from home. Pacific Beach and Ocean Shores are just 15 min away but you will feel like you are in a much more secluded setting. Use this as a basecamp to explore some of the rain forests up north or use it as a premier clamming destination. The site has a gravel driveway that is aprox 75' long and 14-16' wide. In the winter all vehicles and RV's must stay on the designated driveway. In the summer the grass in the front and sandy beach soil around the firepit can be used for other activities. This is a beach paradise and listening to the surf as you go to sleep is always a wonderful experience. There is no toilet on site. Tent campers must dispose of their waste accordingly and all trash must be packed out.

Merriman Creek is nestled under a canopy of old growth Maple Trees next to our Nightly Rental, The River's Edge, on the South Shore of Lake Quinault. At the request of our nightly rental customers, we have added secluded dry camping sites for our guests and for those wanting to enjoy the Lake Quinault area. Due to USFS Campground closures and high demand, we are happy to provide a place for campers to spend a night or two as they enjoy Lake Quinault. The Hipcamp location is approx 100 yards away from our Rental House and it is secluded and provided. Preferably this is a walk-in tent site Hipcamp, but if the weather is dry, you may drive in with your car or camper van. Please be mindful of other campers as this is an open field nestled under old growth Maple Trees. Quiet Hours and respectful camping etiquette should be followed. We have a communal fire pit in the middle of the 3 acre parcel, 7 sites in total and a clean and new Porta-Potty toilet. There is no water on site so please bring your own water. You may also bring your own portable propane fire pit should you wish not to use the communal fire pit. We hope this description helps! Site 1 is best suited for a camper van. Everyone must pass by this site to get to the other sites. SIte 1 is also closest to the Porta Potty. Site 5 and 6 are in the very back of the property and might be best if you are camping with another family. Site 7 is closest to the fire pit. One tent per space please. You are welcome to message the Host for any questions, we are very accommodating and can also help you plan your trip and advise on things to do. We also have a brand new cabin 1/2 mile up the Valley from our Merriman Creek Hipcamp that also can be rented through the Hipcamp Platform.

The property was perfect for our short 1 night stay. It was super hot, and Lake Nahwatzel is only 5 miles away, so that was a great refuge from the heat. Luke was very nice. He mentioned possibly changing check out time, which was nice because we didn’t get out until 11, but he did not mind. There was no port-a-potty, but I guess that was only because it was broken the weekend before and they were waiting on the new one. Overall, great spot.

Very quiet, nice next to a little creek. Perfect for a last minute camping trip before school starts. Had a little incident where my key fob died on the day of check out but our host was very sweet which helped to an already hectic morning. Cows and a lot of bird sightings.

Abby’s place is in a great location. Close to everything. We walked to dinner and could have walked to many other things. The beach is just a short drive away. We were able to let the dog out on her cord and she had room to move around. There wasn’t anyone staying in the house while we were there which made it more comfortable for us. The full hookups are always appreciated! There is some road noise but it gets quiet at night. Thanks for sharing your space with us.

It's a small pasture surrounded by beautiful trees, there is no privacy from other campers but the sites are spread out. The site was all lush green grass even in Aug, I walked around barefoot most of the time. The huge maple trees were gorgeous, especially at sunset and sunrise. Negatives: our site was in direct afternoon sun (91° that day) it was hot, I asked Kellie a question through HC and she never answered, and the port-a-john was pretty gross, no toilet paper, hadn't been cleaned in 6 days.

One big, grassy field with sites lined up. Site #6 was at the very end so if you set up right, you might get better privacy than the other sites. No service and close to Lake Quinault. Next to a road so you might hear cars, but otherwise it's pretty quiet.

Perfect spot for our one night stay! Just a few miles from Lake Quinault (South Shore), campsite was well maintained and site spacious enough for our campervan. The property was very quiet and peaceful. The mountain views were incredible. We especially enjoyed sunset and watching the herd of 40+ elk grazing down the road. The sites appear to be close together, and there were no other campers, so can 't really comment on crowded/not crowded, or noise concerns. Would we come back? Absolutely. Happy Camping!

We were having trouble finding a campsite and were relieved to book here last minute. That said, we were a bit disappointed. The sites are very close together, and it felt more like a shared field than individual campsites. If you enjoy primitive or private camping, this probably isn’t the spot for you. One frustrating moment was when other campers changed clothes right in the middle of the shared area, which felt uncomfortable and inconsiderate. Other than that great spot, beautiful scenery.

This was a great stay. The host, Luke, was really nice and was eager to see that I was comfortable. He has two very lovable dogs that warmly welcomed me. This is a new Hipcamp listing and I was proud to learn that I was the first to make this camp home for a night. This camp is located beside a creek and includes a fire ring, log bench, outdoor chairs, fire wood, on grass under a beautiful evergreen tree. I stayed the third week of June and had no issue with insects. Luke is in the process of expanding this camp and it is a work in progress. This camp is drive-in when dry, walk-in when wet, so keep that in mind. I thoroughly enjoyed this camp and I admire what Luke is trying to do here. I'll stay here again, given the opportunity. Thank you, Luke, for a great stay and hope to see you again soon!

Kellie was soooo nice and helpful. We loved the little grove. It was kept up beautifully and it was the perfect spot to stay after a day at Lake Quinault. We’d definitely stay here again.
