We want you to reconnect with what matters most and get some new inspiration! We are 25 minutes west of I-5, halfway between Seattle and Portland. Pacific Ocean beaches are 1.5 hours away.
Our guests love the near-by swimming hole, shared fire areas, fresh produce and clean outhouses. Meeting the farm animals, napping in the hammocks, mastering the rope swing and wandering the many paths are also memory-makers. Some of our "extras" -- Farm Tours, Propane Firebowls, Saunas, and more -- are available for purchase when you make your booking.
ALL SITES have flat tent spots, a picnic table, hammock, sun, shade, outhouse access and room to park. Sites are 300 feet apart, on average. This wilderness campsite is located down a 2-mile gravel logging road which is steep and bumpy in a few places! Four-wheel drive is recommended in the wettest part of the winter, and please drive carefully any time of the year in whatever vehicle you bring.
As a guest, you are free to access any part of the 220-acre property except other campsites (there is currently only one).
This listing is located on The Riverbend Preserve, a private nature park, so there is no hunting, fishing, or foraging. Please do not discharge any firearms during your stay.
The forest to the west of the Preserve is Washington State land, and on occasion locals go up into the hills to target shoot. In the unlikely event that this happens during your stay, don't be alarmed; the British are *not* coming.
This land is a nature preserve with lots of wildlife. You're welcome to bring your pet, but keep small animals close to you as there are coyotes and predatory birds in abundance. Black bears and mountain lions also live in the hills, so please always be cautious while hiking and exploring.
If you use AT-T, Verizon, T-Mobile, US Cellular, or most major carriers you can expect good cell service. Single use or small cellular carriers may have intermittent signal or no signal at all after you leave the City of Chehalis behind.
Most important of all, relax and enjoy your stay in this incredibly peaceful and secluded valley.

My son and I went camping at Site 5. There was a bouquet of flowers on the table, drinking water, and rinse water provided. My son loved the hammock. Fire wood was provided and we had great campfires. We took the farm tour and loved it. We also went to the swimming hole that directions were provided for and had a great time. Galilee and Brent spent some time with us, and Brent showed my son the cool swings that went way out around the tree and helped catch him. We loved it experience and look forward to going back next year!

Had the best glamping trip in Pe Ell with my family—total private preserve with our own swimming hole and no crowds, just us and nature. Our dog loved roaming off-leash the whole weekend. It was super relaxing and honestly an ideal escape from the Labor Day chaos. Huge bonus: Marc (the host) was really responsive, answering questions fast and making sure we felt welcome the whole time. Can’t wait to go back!

Great experience. We went Sunday-Tuesday so we had the whole campground to ourselves. Even the other side that’s not hosted by this person. The lot is split in half with two owners both found on Hipcamp. Had a fire pit, porta-potty, a private gate entrance, very clean, edged with tall beautiful evergreens, trails around the camp site, wildlife all around. We saw deer cross through the campsite Monday night. You do have to bring your own water. There is no water on site. We found free water at pioneer market in Long Beach. (Jacks country store does not help with water from a spigot) You can’t walk to the beach, it says it’s a 1/4 mile but we did not find any beach walking distance. The closest was a 8 min drive(3 miles). The camp spot is on grass but there are gopher heads that kept getting on my daughter’s foot (1 yr old, so it’s a big deal 😂), riddled along the drive way and edges of campsite. Have to wear shoes all the time to be safe and I’m glad I didn’t take my dog. It would have been a hassle. Other that that, the campsite is a 4 out of 5 in my opinion. No Water, gophers heads, and the misleading about the beach is why it didn’t get 5.

Great place for a stop. Sites 1-3 are large enough for groups. The provided outhouse is clean, and well maintained. It is a nice quiet spot for families. Not far from there is Pacific Pines State Park. It's a nice change from Long Beach. More remote so you can spread out some.
Dog owners: Great spot, but look carefully at their paws and fur. Somewhere nearby we picked up puncture vine seeds in our vehicle tires. I don't know where exactly. We looked carefully around in the gravel and saw a couple, but nothing in campsite 3 where we stayed.

Abby’s place is in a great location. Close to everything. We walked to dinner and could have walked to many other things. The beach is just a short drive away. We were able to let the dog out on her cord and she had room to move around. There wasn’t anyone staying in the house while we were there which made it more comfortable for us. The full hookups are always appreciated! There is some road noise but it gets quiet at night. Thanks for sharing your space with us.

I loved the pure tranquility of this place. Really private BUT with all the amenities you would find within a house like fridge, fan, microwave, and more. There is a trail thats about 15 mins or from the tent that leads to a gem of river swimming area that was BEAUTIFUL. The shower and bathroom are right behind the outside of the tent and were nice too.
Will def be back when I have the chance.

I loved staying at this camping spot. It’s about 2.3 miles from drive on beach access. It was quiet, clean and had lots of space for each of the sites. It’s in a very safe neighborhood and easy to find. Only downside I would say is it has a lot of thorns (goatheads), so watch your feet and your dogs feet. But all in all I would recommend if you like staying where it’s uncrowded and have lots of room to spread out.

We loved Galilee and Brent’s farm! We spent two nights with two adults and two kids (5 and 8). We had a beautiful, flat spot in the shade with drinking water and washing water already prepped for us with a very cute bouquet of flowers. We had a great time learning about the different things growing on the farm, playing bocce ball, trying out the rope swing, and hanging around the group camp fire. We can’t wait to come visit again!

This was a wonderful place to stay and stargaze! You have the best of both worlds -camping and facilities. Dogs can be off leash as there’s a huge huge meadow for them to play in.
No one else was around and it was beautiful.

Galilee, Brett, and Flint (the camp dog) were so welcoming! Our picnic table with fresh wildflowers was the perfect sight for weary eyes. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the farm, as well as the campfire with neighboring campers. The campsites were so far apart, we hardly heard the kids in other sites. The tent pads tucked into the trees further lent a sense of seclusion. Even better, the tent pads were leveled with fine bark chips, which is the perfect cushion for tent camping. The fresh water at our sites and dry firewood meant we had less to pack in our car. We enjoyed walking the trails that Brett kept well groomed. Galilee's fresh produce was delightful. We will be returning again soon!
