This tiny home is located in Cheney, WA . On a dead end road. Very Quiet. A rural living area. This lot is 10 acres. Country living yet close to city. The tiny home has locks on all windows, a lockbox with access code provided day of arrival, access road is lined with solar powered lamps for night time lighting and safe late arrivals.
Nearby is Hunting, fishing, hiking and biking, and lake activities.  Take a walk in the neighborhood or drive a short distance and enjoy Fish lake for enjoying non motorized  boats, kayaking, SUP's, and the paved Fish Lake Trail that connects to Centennial trail system in Spokane for biking and hiking. The perfect getaway without having to travel hours, or if you are in Spokane area for an event this is where you will want to call home. 15 minutes from downtown. 15 minutes from  Spokane International airport.

THE BIG ROCK IN THE MIDDLE IS NOT A CAMP SITE!

WE HAVE ADDED A 4th CAMPSITE!! it is a Tipi away from everybody else. Check it out its pretty cool!

We let the grass grow tall on the property as it acts as a weed block.....we have spent hundreds of dollars and still spend a lot of time spraying and pulling weeds.

Pitch your tent in a secluded cove of pines. Fresh well water within short walking distance (20 yds).  Community covered patio with grilling available. 

LBR is primarily a tent camping campground. There are also many moles so the ground can be a bit bumpy.

WE DO NOT ACCEPT R’V’s or campers larger than a camper van. 4 people per site, 6 max per site but that is $5 per person extra. 

little town of Bayview has a good restaurant Captains Wheel. 5 miles east on HWY 54.

Something new near us! There is a new Super 1 foods grocery store with an Ace hardware store complex just after you turn off HWY 95 to come to LBR. NEW! Sweet Lou's BBQ Pit at Athol Crossings next to the Super 1. You can get all your food needs and many of your camping needs there. This will be very helpful to all our guests.

Drinking coffee and sitting in the sun! It was a chilly afternoon, but the sun felt nice!

Such a big site for us to park on with plenty of room to spare!

And of course, coffee. It's the first thing we make in the morning. 

Beautiful views of trees and rock with moss and just greenery everywhere! Highly recommend taking a hike in this state park.

Situated on 20 acres with abundant trees and a year round creek dappled

with wildflowers. Boasting shaded camp sites, abundant bird songs and bird watching opportunities including blue heron, hawks, great horned owl, quail, ducks, turkeys, pheasants, and creek full of frogs for the kids to catch and friendly horses to watch. Each evening, listen to the coyotes howl, the owls hoot, crickets chirp, frogs croak (in spring/early summer) and the gentle ambling of the occasional short train that crosses the track on the nearby spur. Willow Creek Retreat is a great place for a camp reunion, families wanting to get their kids into nature, fall bird hunting or a romantic country get away.

The Old Weber Farm

Owned the last 100 years by only two families. The Weber family was the last to own and operate the farm for over 60 years. House was built in 1917 and the barn was added in 1925. Legend has it Bing Crosby sang in the barn himself after a long summer bucking bales in Cheney.
We are close to Turnbull Wildlife Park and a few local fishing lakes: badger lake, williams lake, and amber lake.  The town of Cheney is a great place to stock up and bicycle the fish lake trail.

SPOKANE CAMPING In The Forest

The property we named GAEA (the old Greek spelling of Mother Earth)
was first seen in a vision. Historically, Deep Creek Canyon was a winter encampment for the Spokane Indians, whose ancestral lands surround us. We feel the healing spirit of the land, in partnership and stewardship. We gather community for Solstice & Equinox celebrations, bringing people together to honor the changing seasons. Our original house was one of the first in the canyon, in the early 1940's.
There’s a map that leads you to hidden features, like the gypsy fortune-telling tea house, a fairy mound at the base of a huge fir tree, a yoga platform, and a Buddha bench for contemplating or conversation.
