2 acres of serenity. An opportunity to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. We are a small hobby farm. We offer two different Glamping sites... a Yurt and a tent capsite. Your private getaway is secluded from the rest of the farm life but you are welcome to visit and partake in whatever the farm offers. We have Nigerian dwarf goats, apples, pears, plums, blackberries & Iris to enjoy. Wild animals abound. There are walking/biking trails right around the corner and you are 15 minutes from downtown, the ocean and enjoying sports like kayaking, swimming, whale watching, etc. Our glamping sites are completely off grid. Enjoy simplicity in comfortable luxury!
We are dog friendly, and we require all guests to clean up after their dogs. There are plastic bags provided for animal waste disposal when dogs are in the backyard and on neighborhood walks. Cleaning up after pets includes excess pet hair, especially on furniture. Please use the waterproof pet blanket provided for the sofa and bed.
Guests bring the animal onto the property at their own risk. The booking guest is liable for any damages that pets cause. (We will have to charge a cleaning fee if your dog leaves behind a mess or causes damage.)
We find that most people are cooperative and responsible with their pets. We love traveling with our fur babies, and would like to keep allowing pets in our listings. Thank you for being understanding and working with us to keep our rental available to pets!
Rules for dogs:
1. We do NOT have a fenced yard or space. If you have a dog that will wander, we require you to keep your dog on a leash or a lead.
2. We live in a country neighborhood and being good neighbors is very important to us. Excessive barking, making noise or being a nuisance to our neighbors is not allowed.
3. Clean up after your dog in the rental, around the rental and anywhere you take your dog in the neighborhood.

What a lovely experience! Beth was so communicative and answered our questions. The yurt had a super cozy bed! You can stay here even if it’s chilly - the evenings were cold BUT the accessible campfire and super warm and cozy bed kept us warm! It is absolutely feasible in chillier weather, just be prepared! Her husband helped us out with some firewood as we hadn’t had a chance to buy any and he also kindly shared some homegrown apples with us on our way out! Clean bathroom, peaceful environment, and 2 lovely dogs! Will absolutely stay again when we find ourselves in the area. Thanks! :)

Weekend Trip to Hobson Meadows
Two of us stayed here for one night. We live in Seattle and it was a perfect place to stay after spending the day in Bellingham. We arrived after sunset and our host quickly came outside to help guide us to our yurt, which was so appreciated. It was raining on and off throughout our stay, but we stayed dry and the bed was unexpectedly comfortable. The only suggestion I have is to add another large rug inside for warmth and coziness. We’ll be back again, hopefully for longer!

I stayed in the Elderberry yurt with my girlfriend and the place was absolutely stunning. It was decorated so cute and cozy inside the yurt, it made for such a calming, magical moment inside when it rained. Also, having a flushable toilet is HUUUUGEEE. The bathrooms were incredibly clean and upkept daily. Definitely made things a lot easier. The campsite was incredibly spacious and there was plenty of room to sunbathe, eat, and relax. Beth and her husband were so generous and accommodating. They were so ready to jump at anything we needed, like extra blankets or firewood. They’re definitely one of the nicest people we’ve ever met. The campsite is also close enough to town to be able to grab anything from the store if need be, which was super helpful. We will definitely be coming back to such a gorgeous place. Definitely made our weekend very memorable.

The yurt was so cozy and the area was secluded which made it easy to relax. The amenities such as a solar shower, grill and compostable toilet area with a pump sink is perfect for those who are not so comfortable with tent camping. The yurt is on the smaller side but it was enough room for my partner, myself and our pups! We enjoyed coming back to this area after exploring Bellingham and going for a swim at the nearby lakes. The directions were clear and we would definitely stay again :)

Well appointed yurt, nice bathroom and cozy shower. Full kitchen with all needed amenities. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching birds and squirrels. Host has games and a movie viewer available which was nice on a rainy day. Parking is sufficient for one car. Some traffic noise as close to major highway. Overall a pleasant experience.

Eric was a lovely host! The yurt was incredibly romantic (thanks for the additional birthday flowers!), comfy, and the setup was excellent. We had everything we needed and more. Visits from Merlin, the big shaggy dog, were very welcome and sweet. The bed was amazing! Eric gave great tips about things to see and do in the area as well.

My daughter (age 10) and I stayed at Beth and Matt's place for a week along with another family while our kids were in a summer camp nearby. The hosts were so kind and friendly and their two dogs were an absolute joy to have around. The accommodations were clean and comfortable and having a bathroom and shower made the longer stay possible. The location is quiet and peaceful and it feels like you are away but also close to all the modern conveniences if you need anything. A lot to explore in the area. Loved our visit and look forward to going back!

What an incredibly charming glamping site. Our hosts were amazing and went above and beyond to help us find swimming holes, fishing, and activities nearby. They left so many thoughtful touches such as bedside lanterns, cups and plates, and s’more roasting sticks by the fire. The pond was lovely for the kids to catch frogs and explore. They had so many wildlife sightings and I loved how much space they could roam freely. Our site was on full sun and pretty hot during the heat of the day but our friends next to us had a great shade tree which helped. Although the shower did not have hot water, it was so refreshing after a hot day out and having a toilet and dish washing stations was so convenient. What a special place. We will certainly return to Beth’s place.

Had a great time staying in the elderberry yurt, with my gf. Everything was clean and well kept up. Hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating. Overall we loved our stay. Our only feedback was that for the price it would've been nice to take a warm shower. But still really enjoyed this place.

We loved this place! The land is so beautiful. The bird sounds at sunrise and sunset are amazing. Our yurt was so beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. Fire pit huge plus. Shower is cold but clean and sooo nice after a long dusty hike. Beth and Matt were super nice. Highly recommend this spot.
