4 sites · RVs25 acres · Okanogan, WAWe built our totally off grid home on these 80 acres in the early 2000s. We are surrounded on all sides by either Washington State or US Forest Service land and we have no neighbors for miles. We have several acres on the lower part of the property that surround a couple of old cabins (we do not rent out the cabins). We have a water system that allows us to irrigate this land from a nearby creek. This water is not potable but it is great at keeping the grass and vegetation green all through our dry summers! This is the area that we are making available to Hipcampers. At one time, this property was a sort of way station for travelers crossing the old arduous Loup Loup Pass, before the highway was built to easily connect the Okanogan to the Methow Valley.
