4 nights at Bee Hive on the Mountain w/ Hot Tub
The yurt was amazing! The area is gorgeous and so much fun to explore. This was an ideal getaway. But the best part? The owners. Scott and his Mom, JoDee, made sure I felt comfortable and safe throughout my stay. I will definitely be visiting Scott’s or JoDee’s properties in the future! We enjoyed being unplugged from tech and fully immersed in nature. The yurt is nestled in the woods away from the main building and other tent sites so there's plenty of privacy and quiet. There's an opening in the trees above where a myriad of stars can be admired from the deck. I recommend opening the windows of the yurt to let in the sunlight and allow air to flow through the space. It was convenient to use the grill for cooking and the dinnerware for our meals. There is only one pot to cook in so if you need additional cookware, I would recommend bringing what you need as well as a sharp knife, peeler and can opener.

Great two day stay. Perfect size for two adults. My son and I enjoyed the location in SW Virginia. Spent an evening in Floyd ( short ride) to experience live bluegrass . Well equipped so that you forget it’s a Yurt!

Weekend Trip to Why B Square mountain yurt rentals
Brought my girlfriend to Cozy Yurts for her birthday. We stayed Friday night and would have stayed longer but it was already booked. We loved the yurt. It was very welcoming and had everything we needed. If you are looking for a cozy romantic getaway I highly recommend Cozy Yurts.

1 night at Wild River Farm
Super easy to find, short trip off of I-81 (HARD to find without staying at a freeway hotel, which is NOT ideal with a dog)... but no freeway noises. The camper fit 3 of us adults - cozy quarters, but comfy. Bedding was clean and soft - nothing fancy, but just what we needed. We didn't try the various gadgets the camper had to offer - just threw together a camp fire outside and prepped our dinner that way. But the A/C and bathroom worked great & booking was simple and painless. Will definitely stop over here again.

I absolutely loved this weekend away in the mountains. It was perfect. The rain storms we experienced while there were magical. My favorite part was listening to the rain pitter patter on the yurt. It was so peaceful and relaxing.

The yurt was amazing! Erika has thought of everything!! My husband described it as a Costa Rica vibe in the mountains. We all loved the yurt(s) and property! Sad we only stayed one night but SO glad we had the one night! Comfortable beds and tons of fun hang out spaces in the yurts and games for everyone to stay entertained. We took the adventurous road and it was adventurous, memorable and fun!

Ashlee's property is peaceful and beautiful while still providing creature comforts that make summer camping in Virginia more delightful (AC!). We loved our stay at Wild River farm especially the beautiful setting and farm animals close by. Our chef inspired breakfast really hit the spot. Would definitely recommend this site to others looking for a quaint getaway in a gorgeous setting.

Weekend Trip to Arcadia Sanctuary
We had a wonderful very short stay at the Arcadia Sanctuary with Fran.
The yurt was very clean and the bedding, too. There is plenty of bedding, towels, etc. We stayed in June with temps in the 90s during the day, so the propped open (screened in) sun roof and three open screened in windows were nice in the evening to cool things down. Fran also had two battery-powered fans which were so nice to sleep with! We brought a ton of our own stuff so didn't use much at the Yurt, but there was so much there we could have used, including pots and pans, a tea kettle with teas, French press with coffee, utensils, cheese grater, wine bottle opener; there also was oil to cook with and condiments. It was better stocked than we were expecting. There were also games! The compostable toilet was super clean and so convenient, as well as the hot shower facilities (which were not too far). We enjoyed seeing all the animals, and the general feel of the campground : in-touch with and respectful of nature. I loved the fact that we had a food compost bin in the yurt. Fran was such a great communicator and so kind; she clearly wanted to make sure our stay was wonderful, which it was. We wish we could have spent more time there.

Weekend Trip to Wild River Farm
Great place to stay for a short trip! Me and a couple relatives stayed here for one night and everything went well. Ashlee was very kind to us when we arrived and let us know where to go, and although the RV was surprisingly small inside, it was comfortable. Ammenities like a few small snacks, bodywash, and instant coffee were provided. My only complaint is that the grey carpet placed inside of the RV tends to slip around fairly easily and nearly caused us to trip a couple of times.
