Tri Mountain View Campground is located in the Northeast corner of Tennessee in the town of Shady Valley. With an elevation of 2,800 feet, Shady Valley is the second highest town in Tennessee. It is just 26 miles from the Bristol Raceway and the Bristol Caverns. It is just a 15 minute drive to Backbone rock and a short drive to the Appalachian Trail. The property was a Dairy Farm and went out of business in the late 90’s and since then there has been over 3,000 trees planted. Some of these trees include the rare Butternut and Hazelnut, but mostly White Pine, Walnut and Oaks. The property has approximately 1,000 feet of fishing on Beaver dam creek, so we recommend bringing waders. There is also a shower house, washer and dryer.

Fauna Forest Farm is 33 acres of open fields, hardwood and pine forests, a spring and creek, and beautiful mountain views.
The vision of the farm is to be a place of sanctuary for both people and the life of the land - the plants, animals, insects, and fungi that inhabit it. Core to that is the educational programs, workshops, and therapeutic experiences we host, as well as regenerative agriculture principles we practice.
The farm is also a place where community is fed through sharing in the harvest of organically grown eggs, veggies, foraged foods, and eventually, meats, dairy, nuts, and fruits. The farm is currently home to chickens and two horses. In the past, the farm nurtured Dexter cows (a small breed from Ireland), as well as much wildlife. We have only been on the land since 2022, and are still expanding our farm offerings, but we have big dreams for the farm and are grateful to open this place of sanctuary to others who share a love of the natural world.

Weekend Trip to Tri Mountain View
The most amazing views from camp!! Our hosts were very friendly, the bed was comfortable, and the provided space heater kept the yurt toasty warm on a 50 degree night. The yurt was a great alternative to setting up a tent and I felt like the price was incredible compared to similar options.

We enjoyed the yurt for our 41st anniversary. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were great! I want to know where the pillows were bought so I can have them for my own!!😀 the site was wonderful. We enjoyed a fire every day/night. The dryer did not work, so had to hang out to dry, they do have a clothes line. Very good camping experience. Yurt is smallish but can accommodate a twin blowup mattress. ♥️

Super quick, easy check in. We had been camping prior and with storms rolling in decided to upgrade to a roof and glad we did! So comfy and peaceful to wait out a storm and rain in for an evening. Slept great, clean and tidy! Private!

David’s yurt was clean, smelled amazing, and truly is a mountain oasis. The shower and bathroom combo is nice and the batteries he had available were perfect for our simple needs (charging our phones). We loved having the creek close by, the Rhododendrons bloomed, and the option to have fresh eggs and tomatoes. David checked in throughout our stay to ensure we were well taken care of while still giving us privacy.

Weekend Trip to Tri Mountain View
Loved my stay in the yurt. The 360 views of the mountains and valley were stunning and it was soooo peaceful. Even after an unexpectedly wicked thunderstrom ripped some of the anchors loose the second night, Tim came right away to fix them and check everything else and the rest of the stay was wonderful. Only thing I would change would be having a less glaring light over the bathhouse as it "Over lit" the whole area and the yurt...while great not to need a latern/flashlight it detracted from the campfire/camping ambiance. But would I let that deter me from returning? Hell no! It's a lovely spot and the owners were wonderful, gracious hosts. Thank you.
