Bent Apple Farm

Often described as being the most relaxing, romantic, dreamy and unique farm you'll ever stay in!!! Bent apple farm is natures perfect scape, thanks to my husband and I efforts to create a sanctuary to share with others. From apple trees, beautiful pond and a rustic cabins. Our farm is at the edge of VT natural forest, with often gifts us the visit of wild deers, moose and turkeys. 

Our property has 5 cabins total that give a small little village feel to it, but spaced enough that each has its privacy. This quiet piece of heaven is our little treasure, built and cared by us to share with you.

Tiny Cabin Glamping & Hot Tub

Enjoy an unforgettable glamping stay in our handmade open-air tiny cabin, tucked into a forested grove on Vermont's Tanglebloom Flower Farm. Comfortably immersed in nature, it's camping, elevated. Perfect for a couples getaway or solo retreat.

The sleeping cabin is glamping at its best - cozy and minimalist (10'x10') with screened 'walls' that let in the breeze (and keep out the bugs). A transparent roof gives treehouse vibes and is perfect for stargazing and firefly spotting. Relax on the covered porch with a morning coffee, sunset wine, or a good book in between. A cozy full-size bed with an organic Avocado Green Mattress® 
awaits you!

Enjoy the OUTDOOR KITCHEN with WIFI access, small fridge, running hot water (during frost-free weather approx May - late Sept), and propane single-burner cooktop. You can also bring no-cook picnic fare or enjoy outstanding local eateries from a 5-20 minute drive away. 

OUTDOOR HOT SHOWER (available during frost-free weather, approx. May - late Sept.)

HOT TUB is wood-fired and available all season!

Clean, easy-to-use composting outhouse.

WI-FI is available in the outdoor kitchen. Cell service is carrier dependant (AT&T is best).

✧  Wildlife 

Be bear aware: Guests should remove food, coolers, trash, and scented non-food items (ie. toiletries) from the cabin area while out for the day and before going to bed. Store these items properly inside the outdoor kitchen (instructions & receptacles provided) or your vehicle. Thanks for helping us keep wildlife safe and your visit enjoyable.

Misty Mountain Farm

Visitor's have the opportunity to milk goats, a cow, hike, swim or just relax by the fire. We are 30 min from Stratton mountain and Mt Snow. A short 5 min drive to a great river swimming hole, and ten min to Townshend State forest, dam, and beach.

Misty Mountain Farm is a family farm raising animals humanely. We are not a campground and are best set up for tents and small campers. The site is large  with a 12x12 deck,  hammock, and firepit.  We have great views in a peaceful setting. There is a outhouse and a hot shower for guests. Fire wood is sold at the farm store but you are welcome to gather wood from the woods around the farm..

Greenbush Farm

History: Family hay farm, 82 acres, owned since 2004, back in the 1940's they had pigs, goats, horses. In 1970 it was used to train trotters. Come enjoy!We have 3 tent sites along the North Branch of the Black River on the perimeter of our 82 acre hay farm. Main house is a five minute walk. There are countless fun activities within a 20 mile radius:- Ascutney Trails for hiking and mountain biking- Okemo Adventure Zone 12 miles away- Harpoon Brewery and CT River for canoeing and tubing 11 miles away- Live music and awesome food available in the Upper CT River Valley- Shopping in Woodstock. The recreational possibilities are endless. We can't wait for you to come and stay!

Green Mountain Getaway

A former farm now a 150 acre forested retreat.  Mt Ascutney, a 3500' monadnock is to the north and view in excess of 60 miles to the south.  The beautiful Weathersfield meeting house is our neighbor as you drive in.

Fall is just around the corner and cooler weather, book now before it’s too late.

Dogs,  we have inherited a dog that is not fond of other dogs.   If you are coming to the pond or just walking by please let us know so we can make sure our dog is inside.  Phone numbers on the wall of the cabin.

The road has gotten quite rough with all the wet weather.   4wd with ground clearance is recommended.  

 Total trip from our house is 320yd if your car is not up to the trip in.

Curl up in front of the fire and relax.

 Marsh Billings farm museum in Woodstock has lots of  Vermont Country store is close and Woodstock has unique shopping.

Spacious one room camp, bunk bed, dinning table, and chairs. Sweeping view to the South. Swimming pond 5 minute walk. LP burner and some cooking utensils. Wood stove for those chilly nights. No electricity but LED battery lighting. l.

Note that we do not charge a cleaning fee like some sites.
 We appreciate our guest leaving the camp as found. So far so good!

Camp has the following: LP 2 burner cook top, pots and pans, dishes, flat ware, some spices and such.

Fresh clean water will be at the camp when you arrive.

 The furnished jugs have been cleaned. If

 you still wish to bring your own drinking water please do so in reusable jugs. We are trying to limit plastic use.

NOTE:

 Using GPS, Google map, or other device our address may come up as Perkinsville, Ascutney, or even Springfield even though the town is Weathersfield.

 Check the map and just confirm that Center Grove Rd is shown or called out as off of Weathersfield Center Rd.

We DO NOT furnish wood for the outside fire pit. There is plenty of wood to scavenge on site. There is a small buck saw in the cubby.

However if it has rained or raining you may want to bring kindling wood.

We now have slab wood for sale if you do not want to rummage for wood in the forest

PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN KINDLING WOOD FOR THE STOVE.

Chunk wood is furnished for the inside stove. There is a splitting maul, snow shovel, and hatchet

Check in and out times are flexible if no one is booked on either side.

And last but not least if wedding bells are in your future your host is a Justice of the Peace and can perform wedding services!

If you need replenishment, a water jug will be awaiting your arrival. Should you require more, our friendly staff is always ready to fulfill your requests. For those chilly evenings, we offer firewood at a nominal fee, ensuring your comfort as you embrace the serenity of the campfire's embrace.

Nature's call is met with our on-site primitive enclosed composting toilet. We strive to harmonize modern convenience with environmental consciousness, ensuring your stay with us is comfortable and sustainable.

Please note that while we adore pets, our resident dog brings joy to our property. Please leave your furry friends at home during your visit to ensure everyone's safety and tranquility. Our dog is typically kept on a leash, but occasionally, she gets one over on us and gains her freedom. She is aggressively friendly and loves to love but is a bit large and jumpy. If she does get loose, we will be by very quickly to gather her up. 

Beyond our camp, the wonders of Vermont's wilderness await. Set off on the trails that meander through our property, inviting you to explore the breathtaking landscapes. Whether you prefer leisurely walks or thrilling mountain bike rides, nature's beauty will unfold before your eyes.
