Secluded Stream side Yurt. Currently has a twin bed and futon. Sleeps 3 at most, it’s only a 14ft yurt. A couple miles from Jay Peak ski hill is this little abode I erected in 2022. If you’re looking for the basics without all the accoutrements, a stay at Fort Llatikcuf might be your jam. There’s a water source (a clean and clear stream) as well as potable water in big blue 10 gallon jugs. A wood stove for heat (wood is on you, but feel free to use what’s there, usually a night or two’s worth). There is a compost toilet for your sanitary needs. You will be secluded, minus the grouse and other natural friends (which occasionally visit). It’s a great spot at a great price. Please respect the land, stream and the ethic of the place. It’s quite special.

The property is composed of wetlands, agricultural meadows, old apple trees, and hardwood forest with 700 feet of elevation. There are a handful of individual camp sites available in the spring, summer and fall, as well as a communal outdoor kitchen with lighting, a fire pit, a stone pizza oven and a sitting/yoga deck. We also offer more of a "glamping" experience in our 14 ft yurt, which comfortably sleeps 2-3 people with wood stove heat and a solar battery for lighting. Rivers and lakes with swimming holes are an easy drive away, as is the charming mountain village of Bristol, with a fully stocked supermarket, two breweries, restaurants of all price ranges, shops and more. We are 30 minutes from the Burlington International Airport, and the closest Amtrak train station in Rutland is an hour drive. It is best to arrive before sunset. Please do not arrive in the middle of the night.
