The Riverside Ranch is the ideal destination with hundreds of miles of ATV trails accessible from our location, as well as abundant fishing for the avid angler, hiking, biking and National Park exploration. So whether you are an adventure seeker, tranquil star gazer or just passing through.

Breathtaking views of the multi-colored mountains make The Riverside Ranch a perfect place to relax and unwind. At night, the stars are so clear and bright, commanding your attention. It seems you can reach out and touch them. Watch the dramatic sky glow of sunrise and set over the meadow land and red rock mountains and buffalo. Please note: we provide tent site only for tent camping or pop up tents. we do NOT provide camping gear.

Our place is located on one of the most beautiful secluded properties around the Zion/Bryce area! 14 acres of apple trees and farmland surrounded by breathtaking mountain peaks right off highway 89. Our orchard offers seclusion and privacy to ensure you have the best experience possible. We designed our homes to have a modern cabin type looks with a stylish open concept interiors. Stargazing is also amazing here in the crystal clear night sky! You can also help yourself to some of the tastiest apples you will ever eat July-September right off our trees. You might even see wild turkeys or mule deer across the river, right off the deck! This is a perfect central location for people who are wanting to visit both parks and other places in Southern Utah! Enjoy a propane grill on the porch as well as a private fire pit on the lawn.  Powered by Solar energy. Zion Backcountry Sheep Camps

This land has been in our family for four generations to graze our herd of sheep. We renovated our camps to provide a comfortable glamping space to those who want a one-of-a-kind experience in the backcountry.

One of our best features is the solitude and exposure to Mother Nature. Here, you won't find quiet hours, disruptive campers, or noise and light pollution. These sites provide the ultimate experience for those willing to go off the grid, off the main road, and into the backcountry. This space is where the tourist crowds disappear and the rugged, raw beauty appears.

As the crow flies, the property is just over three miles from the east boundary of Zion National Park. This land is where our family calls home and has been in the Lundgren family for four generations. It is still used for agriculture purposes today. In early June, you may see sheep grazing in the nearby meadows and mid-to-late summer, cows roam the area adding to the uniqueness of the experience.

This part of the country is home to textured red rock, blue skies, and numerous desert flora and fauna, making it an ideal spot for photographers.  Some of the animals you might spot include owl, bear, mountain lion, bobcat, deer, coyote, turkey, snakes, lizards, as well as many different types of birds. There is very little light pollution making the night sky dazzling and unforgettable.

Zion Family Ranch Campground and RV

Picturesque camping set within the protective hilltops of beautiful Lydia's Canyon. This camping destination is on private land and has long list of unique, attractive features. Conveniently located just a couple minutes off Highway 89, this is the perfect stop over between Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks. Special features including private fishing ponds, a large pavilion equipped with tables and chairs, fire pits, kayaks and FREE WIFI will make your stay easy and fun! Campers will enjoy clean, HOT showers and flushable toilets.

You will have access to the multi-acre campground where you can choose which tent site or RV site you prefer. We DO allow no hook-up camping vans in our tent sites. Two of our four new RV sites have full hook-ups (sites 3 & 4), the other two (sites 1 & 2) have water and power hookups only. All sites are equipped with 30 & 50 amp breakers

You will have access to the large pavilion for gathering, cooking or shelter from the elements. You also have access to the clean bath house, equipped with two shower rooms (with on-demand hot water) and flushable toilets. As an added bonus, you will have access to the ponds, you may use the boat, canoe or kayaks, you can also catch and release fish if you have your own fishing equipment. (Keep a fish or accidental kill for a fee.) If interested in booking a fishing experience, please reach out to us for more details.

There are seven available tent sites and four available RV sites with hookups. No beds or tents are provided. Please plan to bring your own camping supplies. Common spaces including the pavilion and bath house are shared with all campground guests.

Lydia's Canyon is known for lush green fields, overflowing fresh water ponds full of native fish, Canadian geese, turkeys, exclusive bird-watching, deer, farming, cows, horses, and last but not least . . . kind, welcoming residents who are happy to help you have a memorable experience.

Your super hosts, Jeremy and Betty, live nearby and are available to help when needed.
