Our riverbank is a gradual, sandy slope that is perfect for swimming and kayaking in the summer months. The campsite offers a swing set, charcoal grill, picnic table, saucer swing, 2 kayaks with lifejackets, and firewood so campers can relax by the fire and enjoy watching the wildlife. INCLUDED WITH YOUR STAY: 2 kayaks and 2 paddles will be included during your entire stay. Please only use them at our campsite. Please wear your lifejacket while swimming and kayaking. NOTE: The river levels are controlled by the Great Falls Dam in Rock Island. During the months of October- early May, the water levels drop 20ft to prevent flooding. Our rescue donkeys and Nigerian Dwarf Therapy Goats have had hundreds of hours of socialization, this allows for the best guest interaction. Our kids are guaranteed to make you smile! We offer a customized 35-45 minute wellness session with our goats and/or our rescue donkeys for $45 per guest. Please arrange at time of booking if possible. Upon request and if there is availability we will accept longer bookings. Big Bone Cave is a 400 acre natural area with trails and a cave that contained bones of a giant ground sloth discovered in 1811 and is maintained by Rock Island State Park. The cave is not currently open to the public. Rock Island State Park (swimming, fishing and hiking) is only 6 miles from the campground and Fall Creek Falls State Park (swimming, fishing, hiking and home of the Annual Mountaineer Folk Festival) is a beautiful 25 mile drive through the winding roads and mountains of Van Buren county. A public boat ramp maintained by the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is two miles away to access the Caney Fork River. Come enjoy with friends and family. Campsite #1, "Valley View" is a Rv with 30 amp electric with sewer and water or it can be a primitive campsite that is a wide open space and is approximately 1-2 acres with a beautiful view overlooking the valley below. There is river access directly behind Smooth Rapids Grill and a short walk from the campground. We sell fire wood. We have a climate controlled bathhouse on site with restrooms and hot showers. Tent sites 14,15,16,17, and 18 have regular 15 amp electrical hookups. The other tent sites are primitive. Travel Trailers and RVs will not fit in tent sites. Camper Vans or Small Pop Up Campers can use tent sites as long as the electrical consumption does not exceed 15 amps. All of RV sites have 30/50 amp electrical and water hookups. There is a dump station near the entrance to the campground for gray and black tanks. RV dump service is available for a fee if you would rather us handle that for you. We will be updating our site pictures soon. Although short-term boarding is offered, we unfortunately are not able to allow personal horses on our trails.

We are approximately 12 miles to Barren River Lake State park, 3.4 miles from Kenny’s Farmhouse cheese, 40 miles from Mammoth Cave and within 20 mins to the city limits of Glasgow Ky. There are Dollar General stores within a 10 min drive and a local BBQ within 3 miles on Thur-Sat (Kimmys BBQ). 1 - 50 amp and 2 - 30 amp, water and sewer hookup are available and a security light with switch for your convenience. There is river access directly behind Smooth Rapids Grill and a short walk from the campground. We sell fire wood. We have a climate controlled bathhouse on site with restrooms and hot showers. Tent sites 14,15,16,17, and 18 have regular 15 amp electrical hookups. The other tent sites are primitive. Travel Trailers and RVs will not fit in tent sites. Little Bone Cave campground is in the mountains of Tennessee with hiking trails and a beautiful view located on 16 acres. This campground adjoins Bone Cave State Natural Area located in Van Buren County. Big Bone Cave is a 400 acre natural area with trails and a cave that contained bones of a giant ground sloth discovered in 1811 and is maintained by Rock Island State Park. The cave is not currently open to the public. Rock Island State Park (swimming, fishing and hiking) is only 6 miles from the campground and Fall Creek Falls State Park (swimming, fishing, hiking and home of the Annual Mountaineer Folk Festival) is a beautiful 25 mile drive through the winding roads and mountains of Van Buren county. A public boat ramp maintained by the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is two miles away to access the Caney Fork River. Come enjoy with friends and family. Campsite #1, "Valley View" is a Rv with 30 amp electric with sewer and water or it can be a primitive campsite that is a wide open space and is approximately 1-2 acres with a beautiful view overlooking the valley below. We do have electric, sewer and water 340 gl tank with a hose, a picnic table and a fire ring at this site. if you'd prefer, you can locate a spot of your choosing off the beaten path anywhere within our 16 acres (ask the hostess for details). We now have rv hook up with a 30 amp electric service, sewer and water available. We have wildlife such as bobcats, coyotes, deer, owls, snakes, turkeys and rumor has it, maybe even a bigfoot.
