My late husband and myself bought the property in 1983 and it was all just overgrown land!We worked, cleared, built horse shelters/barns, cabins, cut trails, built the outdoor chapel for our wedding and of course fenced it all in for the horses! Started sharing with guests in 1993, so we have met so many amazing folks from all over the world! Pass thru our gate into another world and leave all your worries and tensions behind. We are all about getting back to what is real -- nature, animals/horses and each other. Complete privacy!There are many mountain trails leaving right from our property! Lots to explore. You can even hike to the outdoor chapel with the pretty view of the Chilhowee Mountain range. It is a short hike to the barn area for those who want to spend time rubbing the pot belly pigs' tummy, walk the mini horses, groom the love bug~Junebug (donkey), pet horses, cuddle with bunnies and feed chickens! Every morning and night we set a time for all those who want to become involved with the care/feeding of petting animals and horses!

Rhinestones & Outlaws farm is "Bonnie & Clyde" meets Rhinestone Cowboy. It's a rustic space with warm cowboy couture deco'r. You can have an exclusive space with a cozy cowpoke bedroom, roomy bathroom & huge den with a bar with all the extras: darts, games, cable, wifi and sofa bed. Your also welcome to pitch a tent for less and be able to use the cabin space for a common place if not rented in it's entirety. We are located down some curvy roads to a stroll down the hill to the Cheatham Dam. There's a fire pit to warm up by or make some stores as a midnight snack. There's also a picnic table to nosh at or you can walk the land to the creek down below on the property.You will be greeted by the Queen Outlaw herself and she's usually available for Q&A's and/or can share an interesting legendary story or two... She also can for an extra price prepare meals or offer some extras you forgot in her cabin market.There's a marina near by and boat ramps down the hill at the Dam as well a beach to swim. It's a slight hide away from town but still close enough for a Lyft/Uber to bring you back from town night life.We are guarantee to greet you with a smile and a shot of whiskey if you dare! Our family started vacationing in Tennessee years ago. From the very first time we stayed in mountains we knew we had to make it our home. After years of dreaming we took a huge leap of faith and sold our house in Illinois, packed up everything we owned into a moving truck, and headed south. No jobs, no plans, and everything we knew in the rearview mirror. We landed in Knoxville for a bit while we figured out where we were going to work because paying bills is a necessary evil and started house hunting. We stumbled across this property totally on accident. Turns out it was exactly what we were looking for! My husband dreamed of living in a cabin and I dreamed of hosting guests. Here we have the best of both worlds! We are travelers ourselves and have stayed in so many unique placed all over the country. Wanderers by heart we have met so many lovely people and are excited to meet like minded travelers <3 This property was slightly abused before we found it and is a work in progress but aren't we all that way? The previous owners harvested the trees so it is our goal to bring the property back to its original beauty. You will see us buzzing around planting trees, wildflowers, veggies, and fruit whenever time and weather allows.
